Im new to posting just to everyone know, but ive been reading posts for a while now and what im wondering is whats the best way to draw a map for the psp whether i be because of the limitations or speed or preference i want to know what you guys think?
What i was thinking of is either: Tile by Tile Mapping, thus having a file with the tile codes in it ( e.g. "00" for grass tile, "01" for water, etc.. ) Picture Based Mapping having a single picture of the map and have objects and walls n such ( Collidable[sp?] stuff ) in seperate files added after the background map is shown Anyone else have any ideas of different styles of mapping? |

tile by tile is the easiest to handle, as it saves time to create maps
picture based mapping takes awhile to draw, and you have a lot of pictures
