any one know any fps engines out?im thinking od building my own fps game but i need a engine..i just started coding last weak...any one know any good ones?

Iris is a 3rd Person Engine, I am not sure if Doom is open source. I one heard it was though... I would like to see a FPS Halo game, even with the Doom engine, but more detailed models and graphics.
