Default NO-KXploit Patcher for 1.50

This program will patch the firmware 1.50 (in RAM) to allow it to run normal pbp's. (what people often badly call "1.0 EBOOTS").

The patch will remain resident in the firmware until one of these conditions happen:
1) A program crashes the psp, forcing you to do 2.
2) You restart your psp holding the power button or remove the battery.

You can run/exit games/homebrews, put the psp in sleep mode... none of those things will delete the patch from RAM.

This program doesn't write anything to the flash, all is done in RAM, see the source code for details.

I don't know if someone will find this useful since most current homebrews are kxploited, but it's a solution to having 2 folders, hiding icons... and all those annoying things.

Download: http://rapidshare.de/files/17641675/NOKXPLOIT.zip.html

A little note i forgot: this program is not compatible with two iso loaders that use the same technique to survive firmware software restart (i won't talk about them, since it's against the rules in this forum).
All of them will unisntall each other from ram.

cool!
but i'll wait for someone else to test it.

btw, there is an alternative to getting rid of corrupted icons. (well at least getting them out of the way)

someone made an app called 'organiser', and it can reorganize your icons in the games list and it puts all corrupted icons in the bottom.

which two loaders dont work?? i know you can't talk about using iso...but since this app dont work on two iso loaders im sure its fine just to mention which two it is...cuz its apart of the app and people deserve to know what it is capible of and its in no way breaking the rule.

yeah, the patch cannot be done in flash, which it's a pity.
Anyways, you only need to start nokxploit once until you crash the psp or restart it holding the power button.

Unfortunately because as I stated earlier on ps2dev, the IPL performs a checksum on most critical modules in the flash0:/kd/ folder :/

Otherwise I guess that to do this you would have to swap loadexec.prx and opening_plugin.prx (and maybe a few other files)

Before the kxploit was found you couldn't run code on 1.50, the swaploit existed before the kxploit tough but kxploit was released only a few days after swaploit.

Hmm, ran a quick test. Works like a charm. Only reason I won't be using it, however, is that it doesn't seem to get along with PSP-OSS's loader. Ah well, not like it's your fault. Keep up the good work. ^^

what i meant was, im sure that people tried to patch 1.5 so that it would be able to run code way b4 kxploit cuz it was a good idea, but now we know that it wont work and why

I don't like it
I can get the same results with fileassistant
The only difference is that I don't have to leave fileassistant.

You still have to do the 1.5 kxploit. You just have to do it withyour program. This is not a way to get rid of the kxploited dir's. Like I said this can be better reproduced with fileassistant. Or Irshell <--is what I use.

The less that stays in memorey ie
irshell
your little program

Well that all takes up room.

If you were worried about corrupted icons, you could've just used the %__SCE__GAME, __SCE__GAME trick.
