Default Compiling Lua Player .16

If I had a fresh install of cygwin, would I be able to compile Lua Player .16? When I attempted to do so, I always came up with different errors. The first thing i did was find an old version of the toolchain script that didnt install pspsdk. After I found one I ran the script, everything went fine. Then I got myself the pspsdk-1.0+beta, it wasnt the pspsdk-1.0+beta2. Then I added the recquired lines to the .bashrc file. Finally I svn checked out zlib and tried to compile it, I got an error. I tried this 3 different times and everytime i got a defferent error. So if it is possible to compile Lua Player .16 from a fresh install of cygwin, plz explain to me the process...

All help is much appreciated!

Thats what I am basically doing, but I used to have the script included in the .11 version of lua since that was the only version I could compile ( other than .19 ). I had a slightly custom eboot, but what I really needed was wifi so Monopoly could become wifi capable. That is the main reason I want to be able to do this.

You cannot compile luaplayer .12 to .16 with the new toolchain.

oopo has been nice enough to fix this problem in v18, and shine updated it in v19. You can build those.

I even tried it with this toolchain:
[01-20-2006] psptoolchain-20060120.tgz - The famous pspdev toolchain autobuild script.

and got the same problems...

Like I said, you CANNOT compile LuaPlayer with the new toolchain. You would need one from like... September. Good luck.
