Hi all,
I bring you PSPWarp which is an interactive image warping program this is my first psp homebrew released to the public hope you'll enjoy it please leave feedback and post your "creations" here Here's the README: PSPWarp 0.3b coded by soundInsekt. 06 May 2006 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PSPWarp is a program for interactive image warping based on IWarp a plugin for The Gimp by Norbert Schmitz. It supports PNG and JPEG image formats It's only for 1.5 firmware PSP for now, although it should work on 1.0 (I did not test it) Credits also goes to Yeldarb for his psp C programming tutorials (especially lesson 4 on which this code is based) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ How to install: Copy pspwarp and pspwarp% folders to psp/game/ on your ms and put some PNG or JPEG pics in your psp/photo/ directory ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Controls: Select : Open a New image Start : Save current warped image Saves to a new file in psp/photo/ called filename_DDMMYYYY_hh.mm.s s.jpg where filename is the name of the original pic, DD is the day of the month, MM the month, YYYY the year, and so on... Triangle : Menu/Warp tool selection Cross : Apply Deformation L-Trigger : Increase warp area size R-Trigger : Decrease warp area size ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Changes: - no-image bug fixed - Now supports JPEG file format - Saves to a JPEG file instead of a PNG one so that you can watch your warped picture with the original psp image viewer And here's before/after pics to show you what can be done with it : before ![]() after ![]() Download it here : http://perso.wanadoo.fr/elements/PSPWarp-v0.3b.tgz Last edited by soundinsekt; 05-06-2006 at 03:17 AM.. |

Nice release, but try to use the edit button rather than double posting
.It doesn't work for me on 1.5 firmware. When i get to the open file screen the PSP locks up. edit: It locks up if you don' have any photos in the PSP/Photo directory

in fact the code is quite simple, making a full gimp for the psp is a far more difficult task although it's a good idea I'll add some other effects later (I'll begin with cartoon effect I think) BTW next release 0.3b this evening or tomorrow with jpeg support and no silly-no-image-bug anymore :P |

well, in fact it doesn't handle well malformed imges files
I have to implement better error routines when you exit while saving it doesn't have enough time to write the whole file so it's corrupted that's why it hangs this will be fixed in later versions |
