For those that cant get flash to work on 2.7 make sure you have it enabled in the settings. you will need to be online to do this.
However unless you really want to lose most of your homebrew, or really cant wait for the firmware launchers to catch upo with Loco Roco Daedalus, I strongly advise you just play this through your PC or PDA. Im writing these games to give 2.7 users something they are missing out on, id hate to think I was responsible for upgrades that werent really wanted .NB As Im redoing the graphics and enhancing the code on this for Beta release I am also working on a clone of Super Sprint, its a very simple game and will work well on the psp flash. |

This never crossed my mind before now. making flash games for the psp. i guess they could be like the temporary homebrew until an exploit is found. i personnally don't have a 2.7 psp but i played the game on my computer and it was fun if a little slow. i got stuck on the magic rock though...
i have a simple flash game that i think would work on the psp... i originnaly made it for newgrounds but i could upload it here if anyone wants. anyone? |

Seems the link in my Sig was wrong...have corrected it now. V.busy at work this week so the Beta may be 2 weeks as theres around 70 screens to redraw plus around 20+ items, as well as some additional code and bug fixing, Super Sprint is quite easy so once the basic engine is complete (around 30% so far after just an hour or two) it shouldnt be too long. |

ok, will do then. won't be for 15-20 mins though as the computer with it on is in use at the moment
btw the game has sound that makes it a lot bigger than it is without. i think it's only about 3-4mg in total though so should i cut out the music? |

Yeah unfortunately you will have to either remove it or compress the hell out of it. I used 48kb mono MP3 for mine I think it totalled around 350k. It seems 1Mb is about the maximum limit for a swf. I tried to keep mine below 800k for safety.
In game music will seriously hamper the framerate also, try to keep it to intros and small sequences for game over, lose life etc. But hope you get it online Ollie its nice to give the 2.7ers something to play with.

hmm... I'm not sure how large the PSP's browser can load on 2.7 ... Anyone know?

guess i'll take out the music then...
taking a little longer to find than i had first anticipated. but once i do i'll release it upon the public EDIT: I have found it but it is in .fla form and i currently don't have flash installed and i can't really be bothered looking for the cd so could someone with flash convert it for me and take the music out? anyone willing to help just PM me EDIT: one other thing, can the psp deal with buttons? cause there is one in my game and it's kinda needed to play... there is nothing difficult about this at all. all you have to do to install it is download the flash and put it in the PSP\COMMON folder on your memory stick, then go into the browser and type in "file:/PSP/COMMON/Dizzy.swf" (without quotations) and it should load up
