How well does SDL work via the GTA eLoader?
I'm an experienced UNIX C s/w developer, and I thought I'd have a shot at coding or porting some apps to the PSP in my spare time.
Getting the PSPDEV toolchain and the SDL ports setup was surprisingly easy, as was getting Hello World booting via the GTA eLoader hack.
However, before I get too far into this, I wondered if you could tell me how well SDL and the PSPGL libraries are meant to work on 2.6 firmware (via eLoader)?
I ask, because although I can run the PSPSDK examples fine, I'm having trouble getting the SDL examples to do anything more than give me a black screen of death. :(
(Ditto things like rRootage that are already ported by other people, but compiled by me)
So, I just wondered if it's a problem with my dev environment, or if actually SDL stuff simply doesn't work on 2.6?
I haven't found much via searching the forums, unfortunately.
