I can figure out ways to get around this if necessary (blitting only necessary tiles, etc.), but I was just curious, is it possible to make a huge amount of blits to the screen every frame, (around 12x12x4, each with size 38x34) and somehow allow over 20 fps?
I was curious after I saw the gu blit sample, in which it got over 500 fps on fullscreen blits I think using something called (swizzle_fast blitting?)
Right now I'm getting around 8 fps using the graphics.h's function blitAlphaImageToScreen and 11 fps using blitImageToScreen.
Just wondering, thanks for any help or any information, I know what I'm asking is alot out of the psp, I was just wondering if it could be done.
