Request for Vocal Samples
I was wondering if there are any public domain vocal samples for computer
programming (clocks, GPS, etc).
I have copyright ones I could use, but I think this community should be able
to come up with something that everyone is free to use.
I have attempted to achieve them in several ways to no avail.
In particular, I would like samples in a very seductive female voice for two
existing projects, and perhaps a deep mature male voice would be good to compliment it.
The specific samples I'm after are:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0 (zero), ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, twenty,
thirty, fourty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety, hundred, thousand,
on, off, turn, left, right, and, me, you, am, pm, hour, hours, minutes,
seconds, degrees, latitude, longitude, north, south, east, west, o'clock,
My own experimentation has shown that all samples must be recorded at the
same time, without inflection, and in a small room such as the toilet or shower.
If this doesn't happen, the samples sound inconsistent when strung together.
If anyone can help with this, I'm sure many will benefit in the long run.
So has anyone got a girlfriend that sounds like Leela?
There is a very early version of my first demo called A-Blit that has a talking
clock that would show what I hope to achieve.
