This was initially intended just to be for home use, all I would do was add date and time display to Lowser, as well as battery life.
Then I thought, what about features everyone could do well with, then it hit me, I'd make a replacement Lowser, which would eventually become App33 and then a shell without a cursor, for ages people have been talking about menu-based shell's, because no cursor works well on the PSP, they never realised that they already had one, Lowser. It was though, the worst, most basic shell in existance, but it was a shell.
Now I have added a mass of features, and I think will eventually gain a 'shell' status, although right now it is a replacement Lowser.
This is completely and utterly shooting myself in the foot, as this is not a very beautiful applictation, but here's a screenshot:
the cursor autoscrolls, but this option can be turned off by settings.ini
OK, thanks, I made a topic outlining what it did a while ago, and got a few beta testers, I have now finished it to the level of my first internal beta, which I am going to relese to the beta testers ASAP.
It currently features:
GamePic, this displays a picture saved as gamepic.png - of 198x98 pixels when the homebrew is selected.
RAM - shows current RAM, interesting because on larger folders it goes down, so to help use up less of the PSP's resources you should make a an "applications 2" foldr, with your less used hombrew.
battery, time and charging indicators.
fave homebrew launching on 'R' (or 'L' with control scheme 2)
Controls schemes (navigation with X and on scheme 1 or O and X)
cursor autoscroll - so you dont need to continuously tap down and up, but this can be turned off on settings.ini
settings.ini itself - allows you to change all pictures, the welcome mesage and many settings.
image viewer, sadly currently only supports png and jpg
and more things.
Sadly it looks awful ATM, i'm not making it look nice until its officially released.
Please post anything else you want to see on it, and the testers can bugtest it.
I'll update this with pics and stuff.
Here are things u can put in ur sig (sorry i suck @ graphic art ATM)
