PiMPStreamer the realtime video streamer from PC to PSP
Just choose a video dir, choose a video file on the psp and it will stream it to
your psp. (scaling and converting is done realtime)

I just released a new version.. And believe it or not

but i'm now able to stream at original frame speed .. !!

I completly revamped the socket stuff (CSocket = evil) at the windoze side and removed the libcurl stuff at the PSP side. Remaining a solid stutter free video stream. (At least at my home

)

I also got another 3 donations !! (they were big and VERY appreceated!! , but i still need $$ for my 2.x PSP)

It gets stuck at connection 2 of 4 for me, all my other wifi stuff seems to work, is this a network problem or the app?

Nevermind I had to manually set the IP address for my PSP it was using one already in use.

****y****, you should move to a different free server, www.orgfree.com is free, and has unlimited bandwidth so more people could download you're apps earlier

wow this is amazing!! It does not stutter using original framrate!! Cool..I've even put the bitrate to 600 n stil no stutter..Great work man !!

I have a question, in the readme it says "Edit pmp.ini in dir PMPSTREAM, change the IP to your windows machine. For the stream AND net section."
It says stream AND net, but all I have in my .ini file is

[stream]

con = 0;
enabled = 1;
uri = 192.168.1.41:3333;
debug = 0;

Should there be a net bit too?

oh and by the way if someone got connection problems, its because the prog is setup to use "configuration 0" so.. simply either change it to another name in the ini or rename your connection

Just replace the 192.168.1.41 to the IP of your PC.

did you tamper with the selection for where the psp should start to browse your pc? like change the path c: to an invaild location? or it just might be your connection needs to load..

I'm getting these errors on my PC:

Code:

Could not open 'M:\blahblah\PiMP Streamer\Windows\output.avi'

Ignore the spaces between a and vi. I'm not sure why they appear on the forums, because I didn't type them...

Code:

Unsupported codec (id=0) for input stream #0.0

and I'm also getting a packet streaming error on my PSP.

Could it be that my PC is running in limited mode? I can switch it to admin mode if that would make it work.

This werks great but I've had some sudden shutdowns on the pc server side, i sent in the error report but nothing came back for me to view. Also, how do i use this at another wifi spot other than my home wifi netwerk? I would love to be able to use this at my local wifi enabled coffee shop(hava java)....

for those folks that are having a hard time getting this to werk right:
if you have any other firewall ( eztrust/norton/etc.)besides Windows XP firewall enabled, you first have to disable them in order for it to werk properly.

I don't think this can stream .pmp's. It doesn't show the .pmp's that I have.
So far it has only streamed .avi for me.
