A new version and a new site!
Nice work definitely one of my favourite homebrews! Congrats on the new site
Sweet! thank you! one of the best :icon_bigg homebrew ever! thank you so much!
Thanks for the excelent program, I have been following it from the beginning. I just have one suggestion, would it be possible to stream music playlists, instead of selecting one song?
Again thanks for all the great work
Playlist is also in the current release. Press circle to add an entry to the playlist. Only work within one directory.Originally Posted by xirus

****y, is there anyway that you could just provide an e-mail address on your site for Paypal donations? A few of our readers have said they can't donate because the button on your site links to Paypal in German :P
Great application, Works even better than the last :icon_bigg
But I think there is a problem with the "infinite stream" In the INI it says...
Is it supposed to be?Code:ninfinitestreams=1 infinitestream_1=
i love this software so so much!! breat work thank you!!! i have a little question : is it possible to delay the video starting in order to get a bigger buffer??? is it s possible?? thanks!
Is it just me, or if you set nrssfeeds=0 it doesnt show any files?
i like the playlist thing, oh and my remote wifi test failed..........
There are only two infinite's, The Universe and Human Stupidity.- Albert Einstein
Sony Messed up and had to give me a Brand New 60gig PS3, not a refurb
just a question but has anyone gotten this to work with .mov
Demon X, I think that you will find that ninfinitestreams=1 means the Number of infinitestreams that you have
and then the infinitestream_1 = is indexing the first infinite stream
So, if u had 2 ifninite streams it would be ninfinitestreams=2
I hope that helps :)
Same for me.Originally Posted by Striker1211

It won't save my location for infinitestream_1 for some reason..
:Punk: :Punk: hello im new too this app and thisss issss gooooddddd !!!!!! :Punk: :Punk:
however music videos are gooood but when i play a movie after 20 or 25 minutes the movie stops and i try to play it again and it dont work!!!! some sugestions    :Punk: :Punk: :Punk: :Punk:
Demon, unfortunately I dont even know what the infinitestreams is about (Havent got time to check either, its the end of the work day and I am off home in 2 mins) although I do have some programming experience which is how I was able to tell u what the ninfinitestreams setting can be set to. I would guess that it is not for files on ur HDD but for possible TV-Tuner/Web live streams which can go on forever.
And Jovenaso, if the video stops and wont play again, just push the start button and it will reset the video counter back to Zero, from there u can use the left/right shoulder buttons to set how far into the movie that you want to play from, then hit X.
I would suggest setting the time to further than when it crashed, as I think this is possibly an error in the video stream, and not sure how ****y is handling them, but suffice to say it seems to barf at something.
how lol mine doesnt work, it only recognizes my wmv filesOriginally Posted by aiiihd
This app is getting better and better !
tx a lot for the multiple path/folders support :)
I'm still having problems whith the rss feeds on one of my computers, the other one works fine (unfortunetly for me, it's the crap low speed one that's working ).
Could you give me some hints as to WHY it doesn't work on one PC but works on the other one ?!?
What dependencies does that rss window have with any window package(s) ?
.net ? java ? vb ? other ?
so I could check for version differences.
Remember my symptom is that the server app doesn't show ANYTHING in the rss window, draging anything to that window won't have any effect and if I try to browse one of the rss feeds from my PSP, they appear to be empty.
I noticed following difference so far.
On my working PC, the server app asks for internet access (of course) before asking to enter "server" mode (dixit my personal firewall (zone alarm)).
On the non-working PC, the server app DOESN'T ask for internet access, and only asks to enter "server" mode.
I, of course, tried the app without firewall to no success.
PS: Could the buffer be increased (doubled or so) ? That would help sometimes.
Keep up the amazing work !!!
Ay, I'm with ody on that one, a user configurable buffer on the server would be cool.
Yeah, my CPU never goes over 30%, i would rather have it use it to it's full potential.
Excellent Job! Homebrew Rocks!
****y, I am having sync issues, not quite sure what is causing it, everything is working though, video and audio without crackle, that was a router issue (not the usual port/firewall stuff either) anyway, I'm not sure if its relevant, but it seems I get good audio/video sync with 25fps stuff but 23fps stuff seems to go a little wild.
I only have 3x25fps clips, one is a wmv which plays fine til it dies (think this is either an error wmv file itself or in the way the server deals with crap source) and a 120MB video of a game demo which is absolutely superb (the game demo and the playback, all in sync, really shows your work off well ) and the other is a full movie, which again plays back fine.
Oh, and with the wmv crashing the server, would it possible that you could add a debug log function to the app so we can get more of an idea why certain files are crashing the server, whether its crappy video or the server barfing for some other reason.
Not sure why its going out of sync though, it could be the fps being incompatible, serverside or clientside, or it could be CBR vs VBR for video not sure if the same with audio.
I too am interested in this infinite stream stuff. Demonx my config is like yours, however my ini does indeed save. I looked at your earlier posts regarding winavi capture (http://www.winavi.com/en/download/download.htm) are you still using ... because I am? In mpeg mode it does indeed produce an file capable of streaming infinitely. I used capture card like you did to stream to the file continuously. Then am able to open the file in vlc and can get near real time playback as the file continues to grow.Originally Posted by DeMoN X
However I have not been able to achieve this same principle using the infinitestream_1 variable in the pimpstreamer ini.
I wish the author would return and tell us more about this feature and what program he was using to test this infinite streamer capability cause it's definitely not the one I am using.
If you find out how to do it please let us know.
