It has successfully extracted an SNES rom file from its zip file.
It failed to extract when I entered a path that was inexistant on the MS (ex: ms0:/whosyourdaddy).
Apparently, the standalone for 2.0 tiff doesn't work. Can anyone verify this?
As I said in the release thread, you must type in a directory that already exists, it will not create one for you. This is a limitation I am looking into fixing.
As for Eclipse, it may or may not be in kernel, we haven't decided on all the features yet. I do plan on releasing a user version for 2.0+, but it may not be at the same time as the 1.5 version.
I didn't get it to work and neither did Mincho (both in 2.0). There isn't many ppl with 2.0 around anymore since most downgraded. It crashes right after the eLoader black screen with the version info and stuff.
It'd be great if you could fix it...
About the interface it'd be great if it looked like the old FileAssistant 0.04 (it was close to the file manager interface in PSIX). Browsing the zip and select files inside it to extract would be killer (though I bet you thought about it already).
This was one of the apps I've been waiting for quite a long time. Less need for the PC now  Now if the PSP sites were to update their download databases to zip only would be also really great since for what I understood rar would be hard...
I tried it on a 2.0, no luck. :(
You're right, I have thought of that. I've been working on it since this morning, but it's being tricky.Zitat:

The next version should also hopefully have password support and 2.0 support.
If frmariam is up for it, i'll send a beta when ready to make sure 2.0 works.
Sounds great! PM me or mail it to [email protected]. I'll give it a go and report on it :)
have you people on 2.00 tried the gta loader too?
I don't own GTA (quite frankly I don't like it...) but I bet it works that way. It's in tiff many new apps don't work (when they work in GTA). Can't tell for sure since I can't actually test though...
I do hope the next version of eLoader will have some tiff exploit enhancements... So much more comfortable than GTA for 2.0 users...
i wish i had 2.00 anyway,lolZitat:

Nice App AT :) Now i can put homebrew into my psp without a pc :) Thanks
Is there anyway to make this unzip .rar files too? because PSPUpdate has alot of rar files i can't open :P
Thanks
Well since all my homebrew have custom icons and there is none for the unzipper yet here is mine for anyone interested. It's very Pochi styled to match the style of my other ones (most are from Pochi's site and the others are mine... Pochi stilized of course  ).
It's a simple icon but I think it's kind of neat. Made the bg playing around with some effects I found at the Paint.NET forum. May try something different later.
Just right click and save it.

AnonymousTipster - I need to talk to you about something ive done that can be fused with this to make a standalone/plugin archiver for decompressing/compressing since Ive found and am using a RAR lib...
If you mean the UniquE Rar Lib (used with PSP-OSS), then you might as well forget it as it only unrars RAR2, which was made obsolete in 2002 by the RAR3 format. Compression of RAR files is against the rarlabs license, so you can only extract.
I may support .zip compression later once i've added a filebrowser.
If you need it for any other purpose, then OK....what do you want to do with it?
grr... yup your right, I have an old WinRAR so when i was un-raring files, I got allexcited and came to you about to ask for your source to add it...but ya nevermind, just updated my winRAR... Oh well... back to google...
P.S. ...you used the zzip lib correct? I remeber asking on ps2dev years ago (not really years) what prototype would extract... somebody told me, i tried but failed to complie... So i gave up... oh well...
No, I'm using zlib with a sample in the contrib, I was going to use zziplib, but no-one actually ported it, so I worked my way around it.
ohh i see... Are you still looking into Compression of archives? Cause im going to google stuff around...
I've already got code to compress .zip (I think), it's just I'd need to write lots of wrapper code (like a filebrowser) first.
Well over at psp-programming.com , they have some challenges going on to make a filebrowser with text editing capabilities, so maybe you could rip the browser out of whom evers code is used...
There's also the source of th FileAssistant 0.04. It was a bit too plain but really intuitive. I think LinjR old site was closed but I kept it since I always thought it could be useful (one of the things I wanted for a long time was a new or updated working file manager for my 2.0...Now there are some).
I uploaded it so get it here if you think it can be usefull in anyway.
Ill use it for resources and such XD Thx for the link.
Nice app Tipster, unfortunately I can't seem to use it. I tried opening zip/rar files using IR shell 1.6(which I believe has your plugin preinstalled) but it ends up saying "Error loading application 80010002". Some help would be much appreciated.
First, ensure that the EBOOT is in the correct place:
X:/IRSHELL/EXTAPP/APP4 (APP4 could be APP1-APP9) This eboot should be the larger one, the latest one is 874KB. Go to the configurator and ensure that the extension .zip is associated with #4 (or #1-9).
If this still fails, try re-downloading iRShell with the plugin pre-installed and see if that fixes it.
