Hey guys,
For those of you who want a GTA Style PSP this is the app for you! GTA Style PSP is like Pimp My PSP by SodR. This application has been tested by SodR on MPH Firmware Launcher and his actual PSP and there was no brick at the end of it. But, its the same with all flashmods, you take responsibility to use the application, and if it does brick your PSP, its your own choice to use the app. Anyhow, taken from the readme:

.:.:.::[-What is GTA Style PSP?-]::.:.:.
GTA Style PSP is a flash mod which flashes a GTA font, GTA Background,
GTA boot sound and GTA style XMB menu names. Whats great about this flashmod
is that if you dont like it, you can just start up GTA Style PSP and select
the restore option in the main menu to reflash all the default settings!

1. Extract the GTASTYLEPSP and the GTASTYLEPSP% into the GAME folder on your memory stick
2. Start up your PSP, go to the memory stick section in the game menu
3. Select GTA Style PSP
4. There you go

You, yourself chose to use this program. If it bricks your PSP its your own fault for choosing to
use the program. To make sure you don't brick your PSP while flashing the new files to the flash,
DO NOT REMOVE THE MEMORY STICK!!
If this does brick your PSP, you cannot come to me and start saying that I bricked your PSP due to the fact
you chose to use this program.

The most important part of the readme is the part ive put in bold.

Version 1.00 contains:

GTA Style PSP flash (the files to make your PSP look GTA Style)
A song which plays while the flashing is in process
A main menu which alows you to choose whether to flash or restore the originals

I have not acctaully flashed the files to the real flash but it's working fine with MPH's fw launcher. Since I don't have my camera with me right now I can't provide you guys with some screenshots but I must say it looks good (atleast if you like gta).

I can confirm this doesn't brick your PSP if you use it correctly.

I can confirm that too (I have checked the source for bugs myself). But remember to only use this with fw 1.5.

btw. I forgot about the screen capture app, here is a pic:

No it doesn't as it requires Flash access which only Firmwares below 2.0 have.

Don't try thison a 2.0 PSP cause the you'll probably end up with a brick.

Since this program works almost exactly the same as Pimp my PSP (some of the source is based on that too) should'nt it be to hard to create some kind of theme selecter. I have acctauly thought about this myself.

Actually, because 2.0 doesn't let programs access the flash, you wouldn't end up with a brick. It just wouldn't work.

Anyway, nice app.
