Default [Release]ThemePSP 1.0. Theme installer for the PSP!

Themes made by Users:
----------------------

Pimp My PSP - SodR
GTA Style PSP - Kozine
Dark PSP - JollyRoger
Halo Theme - computergee
Sonic Theme - NeonJam
Happy Tree Friends Theme - zmathue

----------------------

The program:

After Pimp My PSP I realized that people without coding skills maybe want to create their own custom themes. That is why I created this all-in-one theme installer. Enjoy!

Info (from the readme):
Quote:
ThemePSP v1.0
by SodR
--
Plattform: PSP
Coded in: C
Version: 1.0
Thanks goes to Homer who helped me with a file I/O problem.
Another thanks goes to kozine for letting me include his 'GTA style PSP' theme.

-------
NOTE: This does only work on 1.5 PSP's
-------

What is this?
---
If you have followed the PSP homebrew news you shoulden't be to unfamiliar
with the two programs "Pimp My PSP" (by me) and "GTA Style PSP" (by Kozine).
These two applications flashes a custom theme to make you PSPs XMB look more
unique. A few weeks ago you would have needed some knowledge in C to create your
own personal theme. But with this app, anyone can do it! So basicly, this is
a theme installer program ( and a pretty good one aswell =P).

Functions:
---
- Can flash: Bootsound, Custom menu names, backgrounds, WavyLines effect and custom font to the flash.
- Very user-friendly interface.
- Nice progress bar while flashing (easy to understand how much have been flashed and
how much there is left)
- Music while flashing! (just like pimp my psp and gta style psp)
- Easy to create your own themes.
- The Theme doesn't need to flash everything. Eg. you can create a theme that only flashes
a custom BG and font without problems.
- Comes bundled with the 'Pimp my PSP' theme, the 'GTA style PSP' theme (by kozine) and
the 'original Sony XMB' Theme.

Is this safe?
---
I have personally tested all the three included themes several times but flashing to the PSP
does allways have a small chanse of that something can go wrong. As I said before, I have tested this
program on my own 1.5 psp and I have done it without any problems. But if something DO go wrong,
don't come running to me and say that this is my fault. If you don't agree with this, then you should
not use this program.
------
And also, do not test a theme that noone have confirmed working! It might harm your psp.
------

How do I create a theme??
---
See the 'ThemePSP creator pack' for a guide and tools for that.

Install:
---
Just copy the ThemePSP and ThemePSP% folders to x:/PSP/GAME/ (where x is your drive letter).
Make sure you don't rename the folders or use the 'hide corrupted icon' folder name trick.
If you still don't know how to install the app I recomend you check out my other program
called PSPAHI 2.0. It's available at http:\\hem.bredband.net/kalsod.
It'll help you install homebrew to your psp.

Regards, SodR
Some pics:

----

I have also created 'ThemePSP Creator Pack' where you can find a tutorial tools needed to make an own Theme.

If you have made a theme (and have tested that it is working) you can post it in this thread so other users can use it too. And don't forget to post a screenshot =)

Regards, SodR

Awesome...I'm on 1.5 but I wont use this...Don't want to make a mistake.
And what you should do SodR, is put a battery indicator, so it prevents bad flashing. ( I think Art or C5cha7 did that ) Isn't the best way to flash is to have battery life at 100% and AC charger plugged in?
I'm just curious...Not gonna touch this app.

Hmm, sound like a good idea. I'll look into it. But I don't think flashing with "only" 50% battery can harm your psp, the only thing to my knowledge that can cause a brick is that the battery runs out of power before the flash is complete. So if you don't have much power left, plug in your AC charger and then flash it.

btw. Thanks for all the good feedback guys!

This is a great program SodR, great idea too! I'm betting on loads of themes coming through tomorrow!

If there aren't, then maybe people are too busy working on a app for the QJ coding contest!

Uh, can I use my own custom background while still keeping the other features of the GTA theme intact? What are the requirements?

If you want everything in the gta theme except the bg's, just make a copy of the Gta theme and replace the bg's with a picture of your choise (max 300x170 pxl and 150kb in size. It must be a 24-bit .bmp image.).
