Default .PSP files

Hi, i have an easy(i hope for you it is easy to answer) question.

What I've found yet is the 'PBP Unpacker v0.94' to open the PBP files. But now - is there any way i can get asm code, or anything else out of the .PSP files? I mean if theres a compiler, then there must also be a thing to do the opposite?
I'm not really into coding Homebrew myself but im just interessted in the content of all those files  . What ive done is search on google and here on the forums. But google gives me tons of progs to open PSP (PaintShopPro) files, but nothing for the psp I mean, so maybe anyone out there could give me a hint..

'The opposite of a compiler' is a 'decompiler' and there isnt one for the PSP. Atleast not down to raw ASM source.

As for seeing the content in it, it soley depends on what it came from. Saved game, update, UMD...

But im kinda guessing here and there so feel free to correct me if im wrong somewhere.

The thing is, i downloaded PortableVNC. I knew it wouldnt run but I wanted to play arround with it a bit. So when i first tried to start it i got directly the error message. Then I played arround a bit with the SFO file of PortableVNC(copied some elements from locoroco). Now it shows first that animation showing "PlaystationPortable" (the same that it shows when you start any game). Well i still get the error afterwards Since I sort of started 'homebrewing' half a day ago I don't think thats anything great (?). But I have experience in programming C and regarding reverse engineering I wouldn't call myself a 100% noob so .. I would want to know whats in the PSP File ;-)

btw. Unfortunatly I'm using 2.71, I accidentally installed it some time cause that 'demo' stuff freaked me out somehow. Kinda sucks that there are still only two demos out yet -.-

I could have sworn darkalex had decomplied it from binary to ASM... AKA manual decompilation.

Lightforce released a "psp" extraction tool. I do not know if it is a universal format but if you look for "Outrun 2006: Coast to Coast" by LFC you may find a standalone release of the .psp unpacker utility.

If I am not mistaken Sony is cramming most PRX files into the data.psp file to prevent them from being swapped/patched in from other titles in order to get games working partially.
