Its been thought of, maybe even tried, always failed, and most of all, very un-practical, seriously, unless you have a 1GB card + there is absolutly no use for it, do you REALLY have to pirate so much!?

You should, just that you shouldn't really post it here because of the piracy policy.

I don't think I'd want to download an ISO on my PSP. It would be quicker doing it through my PC. PSP would be good. Try it.

I dont think its possible to make it for 2.01-2.6 only, seeing as 1.5 people can emulate 2.5.............

well, not that he's gonna release something...
but, it is technically possible to release a 2.0x version only... (non-kxploited version)
but you can easily kxploit it

but its totally irrelevant here since the guy is an idiot...

Piracy eh, lets see
1) Become a member of a topsite and dowload off there using Links browser
2) Use Rapidshare listing sites to find files and download with Links browser
3) Get Usenet access with a web based interface e.g. easynews. Again use Links

It's not like it will go fast anyway. I tried to download a Ubuntu Live CD on my PSP and it went at around 30kb/s. On my PC the same link maxed out my 2MBit connection.

Firstly, a PSP Torrent application would be perfectly legal, and we WOULD post it one the front page if one was released. Bittorrent applications aren't illegal. It would be like saying having WiFi on a PSP is illegal because you can steal somebody else's WiFi connection.

Of course, this all depends on the program actually being made by someone who knows how to code for the PSP. No offence to azy_xbox, but have you ever coded anything for the PSP? We see so many in these forums that think making something like this is a piece of cake, say they'll make it then disappear.

Woa, one hell of a flame going on here!
Firstly I havn't even begun to start it yet and people are questioning the final piece.
Secondly although you may think I havn't released anything publically, but I have privatly to friends and family, but they were in Lua, which I don't think could handle this.
Thirdly, even though it may take a long time to learn/use the code/coding for this, I have nothing else to do and it is easy to get help from people like you on this forum.

Lua? You think experience in lua is enough to actually code a p2p client? Do you even know how to program a socket? I doubt that you have nearly enugh skill to make a p2p client. Prove me wrong, please, but unless someone with some experience in networking picks this up, this will go nowhere.

What...

I seriousely support the 2.0+ only idea, why... because if from file assistant it's not 1.5 (or doesn't seem to be) you can force it to stop and or look for 2.0+ firmware files on the MS, right?

lets not say it's bad, lets just say... torrents were made mainly for huge files and for places to post illegal files without actually having them.
And yes, if you don't have a pc it would be nice/nerve wrecking (120kbs).
Still, if you would like to give it a go... GO AHEAD BUDDY, but remember a lot of people might not care and that's because like me, they probably have Highspeed internet and / or a pc.

*btw, don't say LUA... people kill others for saying LUA

Itt could be done in Lua, it would be hard, slow, ugly, have unnessary code and you'd prbbly have to have your own servers to put files on but it could be done.

I'd say go for it, anybody that has coding experience. In reality, Lua isn't going to work. If you think it will, come back to me with a working every-day easy to use Bittorrent client made in Lua and I'll give you £10 via paypal for me being wrong.
