If you have any comments or suggestions, feel free to email me at zettablade@hotmail.com

This is my attempt at making a useful module for the 1.50 XMB.

!!!THIS IS NOT FOR LOADING 2.71 AT THE START UP!!!!
!!!THIS MOD ONLY WORKS IN THE XMB!!!
!!!IT IS UNLOADED WHEN YOU LOAD A GAME AND LOADED WHEN YOU RETURN TO THE XMB!!!!
!!!BE CAREFUL NOT TO DELETE/COPY/MOVE FILES WITH THE USB PLUGGED IN. FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN CORRUPT DATA!!!

Features:
- Takes screenshots with the LTrig+RTrig(saved in PSP/PHOTO/screenshot)
- Auto USB (just plug it in and it connects automatically)
- Turn any of these on or off with a config fie (default for all is off)
- Set the cpy to what ever you desire (!!!NEW!!!)
- CPU can be set to w/e you desire on hold too (for saving power while listening to music and such) (!!!NEW!!!)

Bugs:
- None to important ATM

Fixes:
- I found some flaws with my cpu stuff, so I made it more flexible.

Todo:
- Nothing planned ATM

Other Stuff:
This will prolly be the last release, what with 0x89 and Velocity and school.
Entering the XMB's usb connection will kill your autoUSB. IF you happene todo this, you can do a cold boot or load up a game(UMD, homebrew, w/e)

//----------------------------

Requirments:
-A psp
-A usb cable
-Ver 1.50 firmware only!(for now)

Instuctions:
1. If you havn't already, use Dark_Alex's custom firmware flasher, because it's what this was tested on.
It will also work on devhook, but these instructions do not cover that.

2. Copy the "Module" folder to the root of your mem stick.

3. in PSP/SYSTEM open config.txt and edit these lines:

#loadmodule0 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule1 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule2 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule3 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule4 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule5 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule6 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule7 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule8 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule9 = "blahblah"

to look something like this:

loadmodule0 = "ms0:/Module/AIOMod.prx"
#loadmodule1 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule2 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule3 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule4 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule5 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule6 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule7 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule8 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule9 = "blahblah"

4. Hold the power switch until the psp is completely turned off, then turn it back on.

5. If you did everything right, you should now be able to take screenshots, have autoUSB,
and the XMB should run faster. (Assuming you configured the config file)
Have fun!

that sounds more like a disadvantage than a feature to me. its not like one cant set the 333mhz where he wants to. this will be a real battery problem. >_>

Battery problem? Not so much. But I'll probably make a config file to edit the features in later versions. Also, an eboot to edit the config file, so you don't have to do it manually.

While I personally have no use for this, it makes me happy to see modules coming out within a day of the custom firmware's release.

nice! I am working on testing the flashing of prx's and possibly the config later so that they will not be dependent on the memorystick. Thiscould become a nice addition.

Once this get's big enough feature wise, and compact enough, I'll make it an addon for the custom firmware. That way it doesn't take up space on the mem card.

I added a note on over clocking, just as a future reference.

Before someone else says it...333MHz isn't really overclocking, it's bringing the PSP to it's regular speed.

Back on topic, good work Zettablade. I'm going to put off installing this custome firmware until a really useful feature is added.

its not overclocking when it comes to the actual use of the term, in making the cpu going OVER the speed its made for, but still, as a psp function, "clocking" to 333mhz does drain battery faster >_>

Wrong.

Sony underclocked the CPU to save battery time, 333MHz is the standard clock speed, or, what the CPU was made to run at. Therefore, setting it back to 333MHz is not overclocking it.

What about when listening to music? I use the L & R buttons (my serial port doesn't work for some reason), so will it constantly change the CPU, and why do we meed 333MHZ in the XMB, most homebrew automatically sets it, and it just wastes battery.

This is just a combination of two already released mods that are very simple and easy for pretty much anyone to set up (Screenshot mod and autoUSB mod). The only thing that was added is the stupid overclocking XMB option with is entirely useless in itself and something I would consider a disadvantage. I cannot believe this made front page .-.

Less of a 'ass' and more of just someone trying to show the ignorance of all these 'ZoMG LeIK NEXT CUSTSOM FiRM#War bY MEH!1!1!!!!!1!3^' threads. Especially since ones like this don't do anything particularly useful.

@Zettablade and Urza: Calm down.

@Urza -- If you don't like this mod, then why do you keep posting in this thread? Why don't you give constructive critism, or ways to improve the module? Atleast Zettablade is trying his hand at making a module and making it load. This could become a good module if people make suggestions.

Yes this really doesn't do anything useful, but that is RIGHT NOW. If people make suggestions, this could become a very useful module.

That's all I have to say.

Well.....can the creator of the thread change it from screenshotbmp to screenshotjpg, like making it save the images as jpgs?

Double Post Merge

That would be more useful, no?

I'm working on that. It saves the jpg's and they work on your computer, but the psp see's them as corrupt. More work needs to be done.
