hey dude you dont need to have the charging cable on, its not a major firmware, its a mod. just put it in and do what the steps say

How can i get this to auto boot IRShell, have it boot 2.71 devhook with pressin L and hold triangle to skip straight to 1.5? I cant seem to get it to work with the config file. Any ideas?
Does anyone know how to do this or if its even suportted in this version. I tried to edit and configure the config file but for some reason it doesnt auto boot to anything jsut straight to 1.5 but if i hold down the l button it goes to either devhook or irshell, it depends of if i have the # symbol infront of the autorun lines. for example if i have the # in front of the devhook line but not one infront of the irshell one. i get devhook working. but if i remove both #'s i get irshell working. and if i delete the irshell line devhook works. I dont understand how to fix it. Any help would be awesome, thanx

When I did not uninstall the original, I was unable to boot straight into 1.5. It always auto-booted into Devhook @ 2.71. Until I uninstalled I could not get around this.
Also, is it possible to boot into Devhook with L, IRShell with R, and 1.5 with nothin pressed? If not, that's my suggestion for the 0.02.I'm not gonna read 45+ pages to find out, lol.
can anyone help me? or have any ideas? i completely started out fresh and still no luck getting it setup how i want it.
R is for the Recovery mode incase you brick. i think thats way more important than IRShell..Zitat:

yes you can run both.
comment out the autoboot line for devboot and enter the location for IRShell for another autoboot= line. Works great for me.
BTW, the duel boot project originally came up with the wireless button switch idea. I do like the customizable button setup better myself.

the virtual NAND afaik will allow you to install firmware insde of devhook, because afaik the NAND is the section of your MOBO that houses the firmware.
NAND is a type of computer chip. This chip holds the firmware. Here: Wiki. Word.

out of pure boredom, the NAND Logic gate works as follows:

EDIT: There is a readme include in the file, but just do this:
1) Remove any other custom firmware installs
2) Open USB
3) Extract the .rar folder to your desktop
4) Copy the entire PSP folder over to your PSP (Overwrite)
5) Close the USB
6) Go to the Memorystick part under GAMES in the XMB
7) Run the custom firmware eboot
WTF. Seriously. Did you even read the first post? Just install it and run it if you don't have the mod.

LOL. Its all crap when you start designing circuits and get your breadboard. Coolest things I made was a police siren and an adjustable AC-DC converter. I don't even think I could install the U.P. Chip. Nice to have stuff like this. If you have to choose between learning the two, learn programming, its much more rewarding.

yo g! my psp just boot everytime to devhook 2.71 ,when i start the psp even if i don`t hold the L button it goes to the devhook,i renamed the config like for xconfig for it goes back to the 1.5 menu,now i ask u what seems the problem,and in ur zip it contains 2 files the devhook and the proof of concept,and i didn`t click yet on the proof of concept cause i already flashed it with the first on that dark_alex presnted,so could u please let me know what the problem might be??thx
