Well, it should be configurable in the config file. Awesome! Please make an option so irhsell can boot on startup with no button pressed and devhook with l. Thanks alot for the great work so far.
I thought it could do that already, by editing the config to auto boot IR Shell and the press L to boot Dev hook.Zitat:

good idea, make it configurable. cuz i know that i personally dont like IRShell at all. so i wouldnt want to have that boot all the time on my psp. make it so that you can choose whether want it to boot, press triangle to boot it, or not boot it at all. and also like i said, a 333 MHz patch for the 2.71 thing. seeing at actually doesnt run THROUGH devhook, so you cant change whether its running in 333 mode or not. and running the recovery mode in 333 mode doesnt help the devhook mode seeing you can only boot to 1.5 after you've set 333 mode. and then maybe put in that "always on" usb mode from the other custom firmware.Zitat:

Do I just transfer over the customfirmware and customfirmware% and system folder and run the eboots to install or is something else involved, and if so what?

Harleyg man, awesome work. I love your mod but im trying to figure out how to autoboot IRShell, L for devhook and triangle for XMB. IF you can get this to work then ill be the happiest person. This is all i really want. man in the past like 2 weeks the psp scene has like been blown away in advancements. Thank you harleyg and for everyone else who has contributed to the scene. I my self cant code or anything just happy to see that that homebrew is still alive and kickin.
I can make it so eg. If you hold L on boot it loads ms0:/SYSTEM/SHELL.PBP, that was psp-oss and psix fans can use it too.
At the moment it auto boots devhook when wlan switch is down...
harleyg, im wondering, as everyone wants different button combos, how hard do you think it would be to make the keys customizable in the config? Is it beyond your coding skills? (If that sentence sounded rude, please, i couldn't word it better...:()

Well but as soon as i choose a type of startup the system will store this data in a new config file, and at the next startup if I only turn on the psp without pressing SELECT, it will start as the last boot time.
I tried to work on it, and coded quite all the system, but i'm not able to set xmb, devhook startup.
The problem is also that i can't compile it atm and test, due to I have a 2.6...
So if you wanna i can give you the modified source and you can give a look on it, fix and including in the next version.
I think that this kinda approach is quicker and easier for all psp user, instead of combo buttons...

well thats weird... i was running devhook last night, it froze up with the "press o to reset settings" so i just turned it off and went to sleep. now this morning i turn on my psp, and it boots right into 1.5 with the SCE logo no matter what i press. is that weird? did it completely erase the custom firmware just because 2.71 had to reset settings?

Nah i dont wanna really bother people while they are working. I want to leave harleyg alone so he can continue his coding. Just thought it would be interesting to talk about what features we'd all like to see with future revisions to the custom firmware.
I think we should keep it here, remember, the more places harleyg has to type at, the less work gets down, plus lunch, dinner, girls (women if your grown), etc. he needs the less typing he can do. Plus his had is broken (hurt, whatever same thing.)
HarleyG keep it like L as devhook boot.
But can u make button combos like maybe L+ square, L+ X so u can load different homebrew at startup etc.
Also change the recovery button setup as it conflicts with exiting with devhook
