in the recovery mode, it gives the option to remove custom firmware, which i assume to remove your mods, and restore me to plain 1.50 (which is where i was before flashing the hgcf)...
so what is the seperate recovery.elf doing up for download..? do i need it..?
ditto for the vshmain..? is that something i need, or only if i wish to modify it myself..?

woah this thread is loaded in one day. I had the older version of this mod, how would I go about updating it?
its getting less posts at the moment... on the first post you find out how to update (hint: via recovery mode).
First go to the first post, and download vshmain.prx and recovery.elf files. Then load up recovery mode (via R), and go to Backup or Recovery (depending on the version of the Recovery.elf), make sure the Recovery.elf and vshmain.prx is in the root of your memorystick. Flash vshmain.prx, then flash Recovery.elf. Restart your PSP AND ENJOY!Zitat:

...crazy thing.I have thizz mod installed.When I push my wlan switch down my psp boots direct my tekken iso.When I put the umd out it will load the 2.71 xmc.
When I put the wlan swith up my psp boots in my 1.5 xmb without direct starting the iso.
Is that right ??? Because of Dark_Alex firmware boots direct to devhook menu, and this mod boots direct to my tekken iso.
And when I push L or X or something on boot up, nothing happens.In the faq he write :
holding X will launch the autoboot eboot set in config.txt.
...and in the config.txt he writes :
Hold left trigger to boot into last used firmware on devhook
devhook = "ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/DEVBOOT.PBP";
and when I push L on boot up nothing happens :/

the L+R+up command, to back in my 1.5xmb when I am in 2.71 game, wont work too :(

The L key is not used anymore, you have to HOLD "X", and make sure the autoboot in your config.txt is not commented "#". Also, wlan down should boot Devhook directly and wlan up should boot XMB. Need any more help?Zitat:
