I push X all the time.Wlan iss up...
# Set this to the application you want to start when holding X on boot (add # to remove)
autoboot = "ms0:/PSP/GAME/pspvba/EBOOT.PBP";
what iss pspvba/ebbot ? I donts have any1 pspvba folder on my psp :/
It's the GBA emulator that you obviously don't have. If there isn't a file where you specify, it won't boot.Zitat:
Zitat von j0k3r
Exactly! I just figured since you had it there, it was on your PSP. Obviously I was wrong. But seriously, you expected it to boot something that wasn't on your PSP?Zitat:

ths Master. Now Ill point the "X" autobbot to my devhook, and now when I push "X" it will boot up Devhook ;).But only when the wlan is up, is that right that it wont work when wlan iss down ???
PS.
Is there a way to boot up to my 2.71 xmb, over devhook, without selecting an iso and open the tray before the iso start ? To use the webbrowser function...
with this settings :
MD SELECT: UMD Disc
UMD MOUNT: UMD DISC
UMD VERSION: no change
FIRMWARE: 2.71(MS hook)
CPU CLOCK: 222 Mhz
BOOT SELECT: Reboot XMB
... when a disc is inert the drive, and I use this settings, my iso will load,too.And i want to use my browser only.
Thats because your using a modified DEVHOOK eboot. Replace DEVBOOT.PBP in you sytem folder with the normal devhook eboot.pbo and it will work how you want it.Zitat:

@lilwrightbros thanks for this - great vid (and music!)Zitat:

@harleyg - looking forward to 0.3, enjoy the RHCP :)
Ok, boot up your PSP normally. Now, load up DevHook. What do the options say? If it mentions your ISO, change it to UMD. Then boot up your 2.71 firmware with those settings. Once it is booted, turn off your PSP. DevHook should have saved those settings and you should be able to use the WLAN switch to boot 2.71.Zitat:

I was very reluctant to install it also but I'm glad I did. Keep up the great work HarleyG. :)

u mean, grab the eboot.pbp from the __SCE__DH_ENG and copy it to my system folder and rename to devboot.pbp and replace with the "original" devboot.pbp ?
and then my cfg looks so :
# Set to true to run non kxploited eboots (1.00).
nokxploit = true;
# Set to true to hide corrupted icon, may cause slowdown.
hidecorrupt = true;
# Set to true to skip the Sony intro and stop auto exec of umd.
skiplogo = true;
# Hold left trigger to boot into last used firmware on devhook
devhook = "ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/DEVBOOT.PBP";
# Set this to the application you want to start when holding X on boot (add # to remove)
autoboot = "ms0:/PSP/System/DEVBOOT.PBP";
harley. Would you mind crediting the original author? Along with putting that this is a mod of Dark_Alexs firmware. It's very misleading. Thanks.
Hes not here right now....
Hi Master Inuyasha,Zitat:
Zitat von Master Inuyasha
within your method devhook doesn't boot directly to xmb in the emulated fw 2.71. We have to choose an ISO/UMD to start devhook.
I tested another method: I have re-named a text file to nostart.cso ( 0 Byte file) in order to start this one with devhook. Now devhook will boot; when the Sony Logo comes up my psp will frozen...
I hope someone will find a solution to get with devhook directly to the FW 2.71 XMB Menu.
@ Master Inuyasha,
by the way thanks for your helps.

... can any 1 help me out plz.
# Set to true to run non kxploited eboots (1.00).
nokxploit = true;
# Set to true to hide corrupted icon, may cause slowdown.
hidecorrupt = true;
# Set to true to skip the Sony intro and stop auto exec of umd.
skiplogo = true;
# Hold left trigger to boot into last used firmware on devhook
devhook = "ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/DEVBOOT.PBP";
# Set this to the application you want to start when holding X on boot (add # to remove)
autoboot = "ms0:/PSP/System/DEVBOOT.PBP";
Now when I put ma wlan switch doen my psp boots direct to devhook menu, without pushing X.And when I put wlan down psp boots to 1.5 xmb.
Redownload the custom firmware to get the DevHook eboot back. Just put it back where it is supposed to be. You shouldn't have replaced it with the DevHook menu. If you would have followed my instructions on the previous page you would have the original eboot working.Zitat:
Zitat von j0k3r
@Slasher: I agree. He also needs to credit the DevHook author because he is using a modified version of the DevHook eboot, but this one is designed to bypass the DevHook menu and auto load the last used configuration.
I have made a zip that contains everything anyone should need, you can find it here
it's 19 meg but it contains:
*This fw mod (0.2)
*Devhook 0.44
*A dummy iso (2.72)
Link comming shortly
You can't link to illegal firmware files. (aka. the files required to load devhook)Zitat:

Can U help...Zitat:

I want to start my PSP and push X for loading direct to my devhook menu.
the 2.72 upgrade isnt illegal, the app to install it on the ms isnt illegal, what's wrong?
This is a semi-fix to load up 2.71 XMB (not tested should work though)
1) Load up PSP 1.5 XMB
2) Load Devhook v0.44
3) Choose UMD Disc options (not ISO)
4) Reboot XMB
5) Make sure there is No UMD in the UMD Drive and start up.
6) You should now be in 2.71 XMB
1a) Seeing as CF loads your last Devhook bootup, just let it load but make sure there is no UMD Disc in the UMD Drive. It Should then just go to XMB.
I stress again this is just my thoughts (and they are pretty obvious) and would cater for a temporary measure. Once in 2.71 XMB if you want to load UMD just put the UMD Disc into the drive. (or use the devhook shortcuts ;))
or, use the 2.72 dummy iso :OZitat:
Zitat von chaoskingz
^^ lol, i guess but you havn't uploaded it, and the decrypted reboot.bin (used in DevHook v0.44) which should be inside your .rar file is illegal to upload.
IM lost whats the point of the dummp iso?1> :Cry:Zitat:
Zitat von Ajs
i have uploaded it ;)
so if i delete reboot.bin it's ok?
just delete the firmware dump. Basically any decrypted firmware file is illegal to upload.
Well, for this part, just change the path to where ever you have DevHook on your memory stick:Zitat:
Zitat von j0k3r
Your DevHook folder is probably either "__SCE__DH_ENG" (if you have used any applications to get rid of the corrupt icons) or just "DH_ENG".Code:# Set this to the application you want to start when holding X on boot (add # to remove)
autoboot = "ms0:/PSP/GAME/*WHATEVERTHENAMEOFYOUDEVHOOKFOLDER/EBOOT.PBP";
@chaoskingz: That is what I've been trying to tell everyone.
EDIT: Just a little tip, you only have to hold the X button for the auto-load until the Memory Stick access light flashes really fast, stops, then flashes just once. That single flash is the custom firmware accessing the config.txt file. After that single flash you can let go.
I got it work, but only when I put the wlan switch up and push X, my psp boots up to my devhook menu.When I put the wlan switch doen and push X, my psp boots direct to 2.71.
I used this config :
# Set this to the application you want to start when holding X on boot (add # to remove)
autoboot = "ms0:/PSP/GAME/__SCE__DH_ENG/EBOOT.PBP";..
and USB mode iss out for this firmware, I must push it on in 1.5 xmb to tranfedr files...
You do realise you will probably get a day ban for this post, why? because you knew the forum rules, because it was stated to you in previous posts, yet you willingly broke them forum rules and showed a complete disrespect for them. Nice going there mate.Zitat:

Spoiler for If I Were A Mod:
If you don't want the umd to autoload when booting up 2.71 or any firmware, go to the XMB in that firmware and change the parental control to 1. Then whenever it starts it'll ask for the password and you just have to press O. Not my idea, but it works! (I read it somewhere on these forums.)
Yeah, I noticed. I wish he would fix this.Zitat:

Zitat:

It work, but when I use this line :
loadmodule0 = "ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/AIOMod.prx" it wont work...
Only with this line it will be work :
#loadmodule0 = "ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/AIOMod.prx"
That's because you dont have the All in One Module. When you put the # sign in there, it becomes a comment and the custom firmware overlooks it.
What is the All in one Mod?
what does that mean ? I dunno what a All in One Mod iss... :/Zitat:
Zitat von cooldocy795
See for yourself.
lmfao. Are you really that stupid? ugh...people these days. The '#' refers to that entire line being commented. Hence, the reason why it works.Zitat:
Zitat von j0k3r
Some people cannot think? Or read? Or use common sense? Ive been seeing alot of these people lately, all the POC mods are EXTREMELY easy to apply and use. Doesnt take a brain sergeon to do this.Zitat:
Zitat von Slasher
Why I am stupid...I put an # in front off that line means, that the line have no function.And when the line has no function my X button worked at startup.But when I dont put the # in front off the line, what means that the line iss on, My X button wont work at startup...Zitat:
Zitat von Slasher
Iss that normal ??
That was ma only question
@ all,
here is the fake.iso. Now you are able to boot directly into the devhook xmb on fw 2.71.
Download:
Fake ISO
I have tested this one and it is working.
Enjoy it.
Thx to artey :Punk:
