Right, apologies for this, I've installed the mod a bit late in the day so have missed quite a bit and 40 pages into this thread I started losing the will to live :Argh:
Could someone let me know how I enter recovery mode? I have been holding every button I thought it may be with no effect. Do I need to place the recovery.elf file in the root of ms to get it working?
Any suggestions (except the rude ones) will be most appreciated.

in 0.2, i think you need to switch to hold after turning on the psp (so power on and directly down in hold).

Took me about 10 minutes last night to find the recovery mode as well. Don't feel too bad. :)
I bought a 1.5 psp in in hong kong last month with instructions in chinese so I never even noticed the 'hold' on the power, oh dear :o
What the hell does it do anyway?
if its in hold, when you push a button it does nothing, good for stopign children for pressing on stuff. or if you listen to music and have it in you pocket it won't do anythign if the buttons are accidentally hit.

Has anyone tried loading AFKIM with this custom firmware...? There is something wrong, because the XMB and IRSHELL both throw errors when trying to boot it, I know it works because I used AFKIM the same day I installed the custom firmware.
EDIT: Seems PSPRadio can't get past the initializing screen either...
It would be nice if recovery mode had a simple file browser that let you choose which folder within the GAME folder you wanted to execute a eboot from. Instead of just from the UPDATE folder. This may be mre trouble than its worth, just a suggestion though
