*edit ok i understand what everyone is trying to say and its just a warning,OH AND BY THE WAY I WASNT MENTIONING THE NAMES OF THE PROGRAMS I WAS USING TO DISS EM OR MAKE EM SOUND BAD OR ANYTHING IT WAS JUST A DETAILED DESCRIPTION...

Please can you give me the point in this thread?, its common sense, no one is going to go outta their way to brick their psp. And for you post you could have just put:
Use caution when using homebrew which writes straight to the flash.

Well acrually now, with the custom firmwares, if you isntalled one with recovery mode, and semi bricked your psp like you did, then you could easily unbrick it

And if you used a proper hex editor and not notepad which corrupted the topmenu_plugin.rco file because you changed the size of the file.

AND Flashmod includes a program that allows you to edit each menu by just typing the name in, and then it saves it in the correct format...MIGHT have wanted to use that little tool....

Yea, i know that. But he was implying that it was the homebrew that he used was to blame. When actually he didn't use it corectly. Still a lame ass thread which should be locked, and have the key thrown away.

NO I WASNT,I WAS GIVING INSTRUCTIONS OF WHAT I DID...I WAS AN IDIOT AND I TAKE THE BLAME FOR WHAT I DID...

I RESPECT THE MAKERS OF SUCH PROGRAMS LIKE X-FLASH OTHERS BECAUSE PEOPLE LIKE THEM ARE TRYING TO DECREASE THE CHANCES OF PEOPLE BRICKING THEY'RE PSP'S ALL THE TIME....
