that's... actually pretty funny. but with this, you just input a and b and it auto-outputs c.

If you're doing that, definately make it show what steps it took incase you forget + it could become a teaching aid as well as a nice cheat device

I'd love to see this... I'm beginning to REEEAALLy love math

Aww, come on. This is SO pre-algebra 1! Any member on this forum should be over 13, and should have learned Pythagoras. Come on..a^+b^=c^.

Plus, i'm going into Algebra 2..so that **** will be crazier than this.

That's a sign of the times. First I've heard of anyone getting help from their Grandfather
with programming.. unless it was just with the maths.

I made something similar to this, but it helped out with parabolas and quadratic equations. It worked well, I never released it, though.

Umm, A^2 + B^2 = C^2 is the pythagorean theorem. What exactly are you talking about? I took this Algebra 2 (geometry) this year, it was really easy. I was in honors, I got a 98 on the regents and a 97 on the class final. Then again, my teacher was awesome.

Wait, this program only displays the theorem? Mine could intake values for quadratic equations/parabolas and output the roots and/or a table of values for graphing.

Mind PM'ing/releasing the program?
