Wow, nothing like having a completely and rediculously unneeded option to boot over 100 homebrew games upon start.

Hmm.. lets think for a moment. Its less about the ability to boot 100+ homebrew and more about the ability to boot the homebrew you want to with ANY combination. Lets use our brains before posting. kthx

I like harleyg's use of the Hold slider for Recovery. Hopefully you won't need to use it too often anyways.

I don't think you should need USB connected at all. I for one keep the update eboot on my PSP at all times in case I need to reflash it.

The next big step would be editting the XMB itself. Adding/removing/changing existing icons. Who knows how long it will be before we will get that far though...

My favourite custom firmware, good job.

In the XMB pressing Home+L loads up Devhook but pressing either of the button combinations loads up your selected eboot, is that meant to happen?

this is for autoload eboot on startup. not in xmb.-_-

PSP Mad, if you want to implement your mod as a "Custom Style" in CASUAL, you should contact me, that way people can have your very customized settings, whilst using the rest of CASUAL, i fully understand if you want to stay independent thru...

I'll be waiting. :P

Edit: I've found out that I was using 'VSHExtender module for 1.50 by jas0nuk', strange but it can load my autoboot buttons in conjunction with this to shortcut loading homebrew 'after' startup.
With this you could also shortcut to recovery mode within XMB aswell. To those who are using this prx just press HOME+L then hold your autoboot buttons to load the eboot.

-_-.of course. if u used jas0nuk prx, HOME+L is to reboot ur psp.so while booting, if u hold autoboot button it will load the eboot instead of devboot.pbp.

same if u reboot from devhook to 1.5 [home+start]. it will read the costum firmware config. file.

I kinda like the L+R for recovery. Leaving R for another task. Nice!
But it wouldn't hurt to make that optional too.

I don't think so. I may want to remove the CFW Mod anywhere (away from pc). And I've just used recovery to update our Mod to v0.2 (download via wifi; unpacked via IRShell; flashed from Recovery menu).
I don't think U should force the user to have USB connected.

I keep my Index.dat and Update on my PSP too, but I may need it; One never knows.
As of enable USB connection from recovery: Please do not remove it! For the obvious resons..

Great work!

Nice work...this is exactly what I wanted in a custom firmware. Just one suggestion to improve it: When you choose the uninstall custom fw option from the recovery menu, it should ask you "are you sure you want to uninstall custom fw". Just so you dont accidently uninstall when you really need it. Thanks again PSPmad.

Hum.. Operation confirmation in recovery can be nice, but I think the recovery.elf should have no space for bugs and keeping it as clean as it can be is a good thing..

Another improvement may be to just include custom DevBoot.pbps and DH INI files (like LordSturm's and DHTetraPack) to people hook da AB_Keys and AB_KeyCombos. This way this would become the MultiBootFW!

ps:this is how my setup looks like right now, but all this in one pack would be great for noobs and for lazy people..

"the recovery.elf should have no space for bugs and keeping it as clean as it can be is a good thing.. " How would adding a simple yes or no confirmation to the uninstall fw option introduce any bugs? Im not asking for an entirely new feature or even anything remotely complicated.

Yes, I agree with you.
And the same for other operations as flash Index.dat (I almost done it myself for accident) would be a subtle but nice improvement.

Wow...this is really scaring me, I uninstalled this mod, kxploited DGEN, get the same behavior. I'd update to 2.0 then downgrade, but I'm on 56k so downloading the updates would take hours :P Anyone got some ideas as to what I can do, or what exactly I did to cause this?

That would be a very good idea. Instead of all the mod developers working by themselves so they can take all the credit, work together and actually make a REALLY GOOD MOD. Not saying this isn't good, it is. But think if you all worked together, it could be something incredible .-.
