FontGenerator is a tool for windows, which generates .f fonts useable with PMP Mod (AVC) subtitle mod from any windows font.

Version 0.5 now fixes the character spacing 'bug' introduced with the new border rendering engine in version 0.3 and allows you to manually adjust the character spacing to your liking. It also includes support for GB-18030 characterset as well as loading your own charactersets from UCM files, which you can get from here:

You can directly use these files or edit and extend them yourself. The important part is the list of <Uxxxx> unicodes.
Fonts generated from UCM files (like all default asian languages) will default your subtitle input method to UTF-8, so either convert your subtitles to UTF-8 format or change input method during playback with CROSS+SELECT.
I also updated all asian font files with the new tool, so redownload if you want to try

NOTE: Currently the new fonts introduce a very small cut at the rightmost part of subtitles in PMP Mod. This has to be fixed in PMP Mod itself, so there should be a fixed version available soon.

Even when i see a lua game that sucks, still say good job as they have spent there time on it...

harleyg - Where did I say 'bad job raphael'? Exactly. Not only are you 'budding in where you don't belong', but your wrong about your little statement.

I said that I can't see how he will use this alot, since as long as you can read the text printed to the screen, you shouldn't have to use this 'alot' and cange the font of it so much. Sure some may use this alot, as in 5 times a day, but still.

My statement didn't show anything negative towards Raphael.

Ah stop that guys :P Everyone should use this as much as he wants, and if SG57 doesn't feel like this being used frequently, well, I don't do so myself, just whenever I develop on it I have to test around alot.

PS: This version is already outdated, there's already version 0.6 available, as well as a new PMP Mod AVC version which fixes the cut mentioned above
