Yesterday, I released Shareyersh*t 1.00. It was a big hit and already has close to 30 uploads! This inspired me to pump out a new version as soon as possible. I have it on a better server (thanks TheMarioKarters :icon_bigg), a MUCH better GUI in both the feed editor and the feed portal for the PSP. The changes made in this version are:
--Better GUI in the feed editor!
--Organized feeds on the PSP! Different feeds for Music, Video, News, Comics, Podcasts, Backgrounds, etc, making it easy to find and download what your looking for!
--New Server! Thanks to TheMarioKarters, Shareyersh*t has been officially moved off the crappy geocities server and on to an adless, faster server.
--Easier uploading and item adding! Automated step by step process helps you thru adding new items to the feed!
--Item tester in the Feed Editor: Test your MP3 Links before you add them to the feed!
--Better icon for the feeds
--Feed editor is faster and more efficient
--Advertise your homebrew or portal in the 'Ads' feed!
If you didn't catch the threads yesterday, what Shareyersh*t basically is is an RSS P2P software combining the PSP RSS reader with an open-to-alter RSS feed that can be altered via a computer program. From the feed editor you can:
--Download the feed
--Open the feed in the XML editor
--Add and test new items to the feed
--Save the feed to your computer for backup
--Upload the feed back to the server
ALL IN ONE PROGRAM!
To get the feed(s) onto your PSP, point your PSP browser to http://tmk.gmdude66.net/feedportal.html . From there you can download the different feeds.
Get the feed editor from here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=23O5XI29 (hosted on megaupload until TMK comes online again)
Special Thanks To:
TheMarioKarters + Gmdude66 for Hosting and PHP help!
All Who supported ShareYerSh*t 1.00 and gave good praise!
--PSP Flash Feed Editor
--When you upload back to the server, you MUST SAVE IT AS A .XML FILE! NOT A .xml files, NOT a .Xml files, .XML! All CAPITAL!
There seems to be a slight problem with the files on the server, I'm trying my best to fix it but it shoud be fixed by tommorow
Ok, the problem is fixed, and theres a new link to the feed editor, so it should work now totally.
