here is the readme for this release:

Code:

ASSUALT BETA v0.4

--this the the third release of assualt. overall, mainly gfx work has been done.

Change Log:

--fixed some bugs with the game. 
-- added a frag counter. now u need to kill the other player 5 times to win. 
the number of frags is displayed next to your health bar.
-- background added.
-- when you shoot, a sound plays.
-- MENU : code by genega. GFX by me. code for the credits by me. (this is stupid cause menu was supposed to be teh last thing i did. ;)

To-Do

wireless - ALMOST THERE>>>
better gfx - appleseed is working on it.
overload and raipd fire - ALMOST THERE>>> 
forgot what else. :p

Installation:

normal for 1.5 users.

how to play:

player 1 moves with d-pad, changes weapon by pressing analog stick "up". shoot by pressing L
player 2 mover with X, square, O, and triangle. shoot by pressing R

In the credits: press UP or DOWN to scroll fast.


CrEdS:

look in the menu. too long. :p

Also, stop naming the RAR file 'GAME'. Some of us keep alot of homebrew in one folder and leave archives sitting for a while.

Mine always get named that way becuase i remap my HDD as my memory stick, so IrShell laucnhes it, and when it's ready, i rar the 2 folders up, and it gets named GAME.rar....

Ill need some screens before i download

gotta go real quick.

And I could have sworn AppleSeed was making this super urgent awesome ub3r RPG, that would take til 2007, yet he side tracks and is doing GFX for another game? There goes that super urgent awesome uber RPG, huh? Figures

It looks awesome from the screenshots. But it's 2-Player only, right? I don't have anyone to play it with so I can't try it.

What exactly did you do? That map should have taken about 4 seconds to make.

dude. i gave u credit. check the credits. IM STILL working on terror-strike. i did
not use any of your code. this was to help me improve multiplayer. u can release terror-strike. rly sry u feel that way about me. ill remove the map immediately if u wish.

Sorry i reacted to soon. Well actually i don 't care much more about terror-strike. I kinda gave up on it. You sayd you would give me the latest beta but you still haven 't. I don 't care much more about homebrew anymore. I am sorry dind 't meen to attack you like that.

well, turns out, that i was running the wrong thing. i THINK u have to compile stuff or something like that. im not sure yet, as youresam hasnt replied yet.
