Awsem new version, i really like that theres 2 ips that you can pic from some times my pc likes to switch on me...allready got my folders set up.......

now to get the new version to work with my crappy network...

EDIT-wow dont belelave I forgot the same thing i forgot before..to change the 1 to 2 in the ip

and scrolling though the directories works much better now im loving this! now i can go though all the files on my pc

am i getting bad quality because my connection is low? i finally found a connection around my house, go to the front door and put the psp as high as i can, to get over the trees, and i only get 17%, i can barely hear the video and framerate is like .9 FPS! is my connection the problem?

yet again an update that seems to break it for me. i get a listing of the pmp files and the one dir i added but trying to open the folder crashes it. :/ im gonna try the old trick of deleting the config.

great program, im wondering wat are the controls wen using the program?
is there abililty to fastforward? i see that pressing left makes it rewind and circle shows the display menu with volume and such. any other controls i should noe of?

Other then the control, this is the best program ever. Just turn on the thingy on you pc, set up your cofig file on your psp, and your ready to go.

And for those of you having trouble with it, your config on your psp file should look a little like this. If not, make it like this now.

pimpserver_1 = 192.168.4.003:3333;

Now, that number 192.168.4.003 needs to be your computers IP address, so go to Start>Run> and type "cmd". Your command Prompt will open up. Then type "ipconfig". If you did it right, some stuff should appear on your screen. One of the lines should say "IP Address". The numbers next the line are your ip address. So in your config file, replace "192.168.4.003" with your ip address.

So now you should have something like...

[stream]
debug = 0;
pimpserver_1 = <Your IP address here>:3333;

Where <Your IP address here> is your ip address. I hope that made some sense.

Things seem to work fine for me except I'm getting audio out of sync issues if I forward the starting time before playing the video.....I've tried with several different formats and still see the same issue....btw, I think that is the only way to 'fast forward' the movie...if anyone knows a better way, I'd love to hear it.

My psp is stuck at connection state 3 of 4. I changed the ip address to mine but it still won't work. Any idea on what could be wrong?

is it possible to make pimpstreamer stream ahead of the PSP? when its streaming, it falls behind and the psp starts to stutter! how do i solve that, can i stream the WHOLE movie first then play it like that?!??!

Make a VIDEO folder by your PHOTO andf MUSIC folders.
For some reason it solves the problem.

That didn't work, but when I try to test my network connection it says A connection error has occured (80110482). Thats strange because my network works fine in devhook.
