yes analogue support and zelda bush bug fix needed. and maybe 4:3 res
Well everyone asks for what they want but my opinion is that fullscreen is much than enough, I mean I preffer playing it fullscreen than a smaller size, but then again everyone asks for what they want!
To fix corruption all you have to do is set it to read only, if it won't let you edit or delete the config file then you need to run chkdisk on your ms0:\
Okay, I have a problem. It worked fine but now whenever I start it, it gets to the start screen and freezes and I press the left trigger and the bsod comes up. Thanks for help!
u need to recopy your gpsp.cfg file from gpsp.zip to your gpsp folder and then make the new copied one read only. happend to me several times. this fix will work.
Thanks for this solution, I hadn't thought about it. o_O Good call!! Yes, I'm sure this problem will be fixed in the next release, I think I just kinda botched my usage of the sceIo functions.Zitat:

Just so everyone knows, I'm not working on speed again specifically for a while (except for game_config.txt hacks, which I found someone else to help me with).
Why do you want 4:3 support? GBA isn't 4:3..Zitat:

ACK! I advise against the Read-Only tag on those files.Zitat:

Programs like uo_OGRaniser won't function correctly when organising files that are Read-Only. It also can cause some other errors when your moving them on/off the memstick. They can all be fixed if you just un-Read-Only them, but it's a pain to do this all the time.
Any other alternative would be good-- or maybe even the ability to make the file non-Read-Only through gpSP's GUI.
So will u work on analogue support and the zelda bush bug?
i was wonder ********. are working on the gpsp so game to stop crashing
Is exiting gpSP using the PSP's HOME button as opposed to exiting through the gpSP menu a valid way of preventing the gpsp.cfg corruption error? I've been doing that lately and it seems to work but I am wondering if anyone else has done that and had lots of success. (I've only done this a few times.)
Also, instead of logging into my administrator account to run chkdsk, I simply rename the corrupted file to a.cfg and then add the original gpsp.cfg file. Strangely, it lets me rename it without an error message.
Anyway, this emulator is the most awesome emulator I've seen on the PSP. (I would say Daedalus is, but it doesn't have sound or speed like gpSP.) I've got 35 Pokemon on Pokemon Fire Red thanks to this homebrew software.
Well, anything on when is the next relese comming out? and is the sound going to be updated?
I just change the properties of the cfg file to Read-Only to stop corruption. Works like a charm.
I've had great success using gpSP with Final Fantasy IV (4) Advance. In game it runs a bit faster than normal, and chugs only when the 2D World map angles and goes 2.5D (like in the intro). Fully functional and no complaints (it doesn't crash anymore).
Little did I realize I own Final Fantasy Chronicles for PS1 and FF4 has cut scenes and such that aren't in the GBA version. Guess I'm playing that once I beat this one huh? heheh.
Thanks ********!
Well, Looks like there will be no more updates for this. First the guy is never online, never answers messages and now there is no 0.6 thread?? Too bad this was looking very very good!
He could just be busy or something. =/
Yeah, its only been a few days since his latest update on his progress with the emulator. Developers do have a life you know; they dont spend their whole day in forums answering questions. I dont know any developer that does that.
If they did that they wouldn't have time to develop. Maybe they have a girlfriend or something, mine keeps me off the computer :PZitat:

Chill out, this isn't over just because he doesn't come on the forums. It is still very much being worked on. You'll see proof soon.
Well not everyone is the same, anyways proof or not proof, hope he comes up with something soon!
I couldn't care if he took a year to do anything, the man has already done an incredible thing. Only a month ago, we were all thinking "We won't have a GBA emulator for another year at full speed". Then out of nowhere, a full speed emu. Looking forward though, to future progression.
The proof will be another release...Zitat:

Anyway, be more grateful for whats already out there, don't be impatient and beg for more so soon.
1st of all I want to say a BIG thank you to ********. I didn't think we would ever see a full speed GBA emulator but here it is. I've already beaten aria of sorrow and kirby nightmare in dreamland. I never played gba games on the computer because to me it didn't feel right, but now on the psp it's perfect. You should pop up and say hi sometime ********, and I know developers have lifes I do too (those were short games I already beat).
Analogue support will be probably on next update.Zitat:

What are you talking about ;P First I'm online ALL THE TIME, if you really want to reach me see the readme for my e-mail or AIM SN or PM me here or something. I even reply to threads like this pretty regularly, not like 8 times a day or anything but I do read them.Zitat:
Zitat von SENTINEL5000
And no, I don't have a girlfriend or anything resembling a life, I actually do spend a lot of time every day working on this emulator, when I'm not at classes or doing teaching related things. :c
Yeah, I guess you would know better than anyone ;DZitat:
Zitat von psp298
psp298 is helping? Is zx81? All GBA emu devs for a great emu!
The analog is a pretty welcome feature :) That and savestate options!
Pretty great emu! Most games I tried run near perfect
Sometimes after a pretty heavy game scene (or just too many hours playing) the game will get out of sync (image/sound) until you reset it... Sound may also get strange this way (happened to me in Castlevania: AoS).
Also I've seen the video get wierd in Dragonball: Advanced Adventure in the minigame where Goku breaks rocks and in the underwater cave near the surveilance cameras...
Hope it helps. Keep'em up and coming!
dont let people put u off ******** also yea the minigames in dragonball the colours go funny
I still get the emu freezing even when I made it read only.
HaHa you tell em ******** :Jump:Zitat:

Expophase is a great dev, first off he created this and second he replys to users like us all the time.
Can't wait for another update.
Forget about this....

owned ;)
Huh? owned for what? For asking about something?? Last time I remember, anyone is free to ask and say what they think and if I feel the need to ask for progress is because I can.
Talking about owning, how many times have you been owned in this life? could you tell or have you just lost count? Next time think about what you are going to say. I believe the word owned does nothing to this thread, maybe thats , I dont know, ... spamming? Who knows...
I am really impressed by your work, it's the best PSP GBA EMU out there.
Great! Both thumbs up!
yeh its great emulator, well done ;)
only if saving worked
whats new ?
Saving does work.
Well I guess I should make my first post by saying thanks for the awsome emulator ********, I really look forward to your next release. =D
Yes, great emulator....
When is the next release !? My doc says I have only 2 days left :(
