I have just finished all the coding for the next version of Pencil Puzzles, but there is still one more thing to do. I can't do it now, as I have to go to bed. But, I will finish it tomorrow. That's a 98% chance. I'm sorry to all of you that I disapointed, but I shall release it tomorrow. Check here for updates.
O/T: I am also almost done writing Tutorial 9 for ProgramLua. Should be out soon. I know that I said that I would have it done by Monday or Tuesday, but at the time, I didn't know I had to go to Michigan over the weekend.
Thanks for all your support with Pencil Puzzles and ProgramLua.
I have made a simple yet fun game. The game is based off some puzzles in a magazine called "Tips and Tricks". The object is to fill in tiny squares one by one, until you are finished. When you're done, the squares will form the shape of a video game character. To learn how to play, start up the game and in the main menu, select "How to Play". The thing about this release is, that it won't run on a PSP. It's incredibly slow. However, it does run on LuaPlayer for Windows. So in the download, I've included LuaPlayer for Windows. To play just click on "index.cmd". I'm sorry to all you Mac and Linux users. I'm hoping to have it running on the PSP in the next release. If ANYone would like to help fix the lagging problem on the game, it would be greatly appreciated. Here's the controls:
PSP | PC
X = C -- Turns square black
O = F -- Turns square white
Select = A --Exits to game menu
R = W -- Scrolls pages of blocks
L = Q -- Scrolls pages of blocks
Note = Prt Scrn --Takes snapshot
This release comes with only one puzzle. But I shall have more puzzles out soon. If you find any bugs, post here. Also, please don't post your screenshots here. It'll ruin it for other people.
