Here's my first build of an updated version of the Windows version of Lua Player.

An excerpt from the included readme:

I've begun to update this to support Lua Player 0.20 functions.

Done so far:
-Updated to Lua 5.1
-Freetype supported
-System.rename working
-Wlan functions stubbed in, but don't do anything yet.
-3D GU functions stubbed in, but don't do anything. I'm not going to take the 3D any further as Shine has already expressed he is moving Lua Player over to PSPGL.

To do:
-Hopefully get Wlan functions to fully function, pretty sure it's possible.

Never going to be supported (or very unlikely at the least):
-System.loadModule and anything to do with it

I'd appreciate any feedback & bug reports.

No, this can run lua apps on windows.

Um... it says "This application has failed to start because cygfreetype-6.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

i have an older version of this that i used when i learnt LUA. So, therefor, im gonna download it for old times sake and try and run my game in it.

It supports TrueType fonts yes.

New version has been uploaded with the missing dll included (See first post)
