Hi, Ive made a 1.5 app that includes a custom firmware and an eboot loader. I also made a version that doesnt need any installing to flash so it can be tested safely (fastboot_lite). Ive been using it for weeks and I still think it was a good idea. Ive posted it in the homebrew discussion section (is this double posting? if so please remove it) and nobody has tried it
The full version with firmware mod loads from switching on your psp in less time than the xmb takes to come up, and homebrew launches instantly. Is nobody trying it because its a bad idea or because I posted it in the wrong place? Id like to know what you think, and mods please delete this thread if this is double posting. I can add links here if requested, jashttp://rapidshare.de/files/32180557/...TLITE.zip.html lite version no flashing http://rapidshare.de/files/32061976/FastBoot.zip.html Full version with firmware mod & installer It only works on 1.5 Flashing your psp is always dangerous I accept no responsibillity if it goes wrong The installer and vshmain are tested by me on my downgraded psp I installed the vshmain with harleyg`s v2 mod, Its untested with any other mod It only loads preset homebrew (the ones I use the most) You can use USB with it (press select then square) The light version is much slower but I made it so you can try it safely I really would like to know if its usefull? I like it but Ive had no feedback at all ![]() Jiggle Last edited by jiggle; 09-07-2006 at 12:07 PM.. |

People mostly post releases in this forum, maybe you should too.

It just starts homebrews with the controls, a little menu pops up and it shows what each button does. Its really simple. The firmware makes it load up when you restart and press O as it starts. It loads much quicker that way, and starts things faster than the normal xmb. My psp takes ages to start things from the game menu, this starts them straight away.
The lite version doesnt copy anything to the flash, so its much slower but it shows you what it looks like and does. I made a video tonight, hopefully itl go on youtube and you can see it all in action. Its not great, but I think its ok. |
