oh sorry ;P

"Due to a recent problem with the toolchain, we need to update everything, so to get the updates and have them modify the toolchain script, you will need to type "svn update" and hit enter."

I try update and get this:

bash: svn: command not found

are u talking about SVN? you extract the toolchain. then go into the folder psptoolchain. then type "svn up" thats it... unless your talking about changing "gmake" to "make" and "gpatch" to "patch" - thats pretty straight forward... replace the text

EIT* ooh right... well you have to reinstall cygwin with the proper scripts. ill find the nessecary ones now
-= Double Post =-
Install all of the "Devel" section

and install "wget" from the web section

that shoud be it. now try again (itll take a while to install Devel!)

Make sure you're running a cygwin bash shell while you're doing this.
Go into DOS, cd into the directory, then type 'cygwin.bat'

Yeah, pointless advice Alex, seeing as how Cygwin already has it's own batch file... Just launch that if you dont have the shortcut to it...

Anyways, it's saying SVN isn't installed... This is either becuase you didnt select the necessary sections to install (Devel + wget) or the mirror you installed cygwin from wasn't reliable and didnt include it in the installl... Just delete your current cygwin installation and re-installing it, making sure you selected the correct items to install, and also chosing a reliable mirror... Redhat worked for me...

OT - my name isn't alex btw.

But yea, you pretty much covered it. I didn't bother reading what he wrote afterwards, so I didn't see the 'bash' part.

I mentioned the thought of compiling for the PSP on the PSP.... Should be, technically, possible as we have the PSPDev Win32 installer to use on Windows 95... It'd be something else to develope but is the only thing a person without a computer (as myself last summer did... I only had a PSP with internet, and access to a computer, internet enabled with 5 kbs, 1 time every 2 weeks... I developed using LUA then...
