Hi, Last night I installed ubuntu Linux 6.06. And about 10 minutes ago, after setting up gcc etc. I ran the toolchain script, it seemed to be running OK, but then I got:
Exported revision 1996. creating cache ./config.cache checking host system type... i686-pc-linux-gnulibc1 checking target system type... mipsallegrexel-psp-elf checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnulibc1 checking for a BSD compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c checking whether ln works... yes checking whether ln -s works... yes checking for gcc... gcc checking whether the C compiler (gcc ) works... no configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot create executables. ERROR CONFIGURING BINUTILS frozenoverflow@GENESIS:~/psptoolchain$ Can anybody please tell me what is causing this, and how would I go around fixing this problem. Thank you for reading this post.
