Awesome, I am very interested in this project.
The first thing I noticed that didn't seem right was the default window size cuts off the "apply sort" button for me. Also, perhaps the PMP Video should be next to the MP4 Video tab... Why do I get this error when I try to rename a mp4 title? ![]() Keep up the good work! Last edited by WataKKo; 09-10-2006 at 03:31 AM.. |

Another Thing ive moticed is that it doesnt support firmware 2.80 or above folder structure ie the video music and picture folders being at the root of the memory stick.
But i have to say its an excellent program! I think that the bookmark manager is the best feature! |

The MP4 title modifying feature was tested on MP4 files created by PSP Movie Creator and WinAVI MP4 Converter, maybe your MP4 file has some special bytes inside. What's your MP4 Convert software? -= Double Post =- Quote:

Looks like my post didn't go through so I'll say it again. So far, I've had two pbps corrupted using the psp content manager v1.3. The first one was when I edited the irshell pbp. It made ishell show up in the apps list. If you don't know already, irshell hides itself from the APP list. after editing the pbp it showed up again. I had to use PSPBrew to make it work. The second one was UMDSelect. I change the icon but then when I tried to run it, it was shown as "corrupt data". Again I used PSPBrew to make it without any problems. I don't know why it's doing this but hopefully you'll be able to figure it out. It must be something to do with the way it rebuilds it. Something goes wrong in the process. Now I'm a bit wary about using it to edit my files. Other than that, it's been very useful, thanks |

v1.3 has a bug processing devhook compatible PBP header, this will be fixed in next version. Thank you for your report!

iRShell is the final version, 2.2 which you can find at www.irshell.com
UMDSelect is v1 which you can download from megaupload. "v1.3 has a bug processing devhook compatible PBP header, this will be fixed in next version." Could this be the same bug as the others? |

Yes,It's the same bug for UMDSelect. But, as for iR Shell 2.2, I did NOT see any problem when edit PBP! Could you give me more bug details for it? Such as iR Shell 2.2 folder names and PBP items you have changed, etc. Last edited by UFox; 09-15-2006 at 11:25 AM.. |

Great app! I have some suggestions (hope you consider them):
1- Ability to extract/change/edit the PARAM.SFO file. Epsilon bios has some issues with homebrew apps with CATEGORY parameters... Apps with some padding values in there wont work: a) Viewing eboot in PBP Unpacker 0.94: padding=0 doesn't work/ padding=1 works b) Viewing eboot in PSPBrew 0.90 padding=1 doesn't work/ padding=2 works * Note that padding=0/padding=1 in PBP Unpacker is padding=1/padding=2 in PSPBrew respectively 2- UMD ISO sort in Epsilon: a) Files are stored in ISOS folder (instead of the regular ISO for all other apps) b) Supported formats are .iso and .ezip (Epsilon specific format...) c) The isos are listed in the XMB in the same folder as the homebrew. They always show on top d) Unlike the other files, the new files you send show after the older. Ex: 13-09-2006 14-09-2006 15-09-2006 e) A .dat file containing the icon0.png info is generated in the ISOS folder so I don't know how the sorting function would work... I think it's generated/updated when we browse the game folder * If you consider these functios I'm glad to test |

I think most of us don't use PSPs with modchip installed, so supports for Epsilon bios will be added AFTER some releases, maybe you will have to wait untill v1.7 or v1.8. Thank you for your suggestions. |

Yeah I know I'm in a minority... I was just sick of not buying games because they required updates and when I started saving the money to get it DevHook isn't how it is right now... However I no more need to worry about firmwares (I think)!
Hope you have some good ideas for the next versions

UFox, are you still working on this/any more news? I have setup a folder on my pc that is the same a psp memory stick so I can keep my files managed. I would like to be able to right-click, copy to..., and have the file copied to the same place on the memory stick as it is on the psp. For example: C:PSP/SAVEDATA/[data] Right-click, copy to... F: (PSP) F:PSP/SAVEDATA/[data] Data copied to same position except on PSP Also, I have more than 100 game saves so it would be awesome if I could put them into subfolders for each game/genre/whatever so the list isn't so massive and cluttered. These subfolders would actually be created in the SAVEDATA folder, they would just be in the content manager. Last edited by WataKKo; 09-22-2006 at 10:21 PM.. |
