Okay this is my VERY first attempt at coding. Its a mini putt game with 8 holes. Its not amazing but it took me a week just to make it so be nice!
*UPDATE*
Ok now if you've seen my first release of this homebrew than you obviouslly know that the gfx were horrible. Not anymore. with some help from ikarius the gfx are looking pretty good. I also edit the bg color while playing and I made the hole and ball round instead of square. I also got the ball to move smoother and a bit quicker when you hit it.

Analog stick- Moves the direction you want the ball to go
X- Hits the ball
Start- Exits game

MS paint graphics

VERY good for a first game! Maybe get a graphics artist for the next release if you make a next one

Alright. I left you a comment on the front page, although I want to confirm that I really wrote it, so, I'll put it here as well. Just to let you know, I worked on some Lua projects in the past, as well in helping some people with learning it, although, I never really got to release anything publically because I got busy on the way, but if you doubt what I am saying, ask people at psplua.com, I am sure they still remember me.

Anyway, here's what I said on the front page.

Although, I am sorry, but the graphics just can't be like that, even for a first release of a test game. You shouldn't rush in building a game just to see it on the front page or to release it like that. As much as 2D and 3D graphics doesn't really make a difference to me in the matter of how amazing they are (I started playing my PSX a lot lately and mainly games like FF1 and FF2... not the PS2 graphics, but the game is still amazing), you still need to work them on.

Don't forget, you are not only in a competitive world, but also in a world of flamers and graphic whores. I understand the graphical part is not important for now, as it's for first release and it's basically more coding than designing, but it should at least be better than just a couple of pictures, painted with photoshop/paint, and put together in a game. This shouldn't be released as your first release.

Although, unlike other people apparently without education on this blog (which is terribly stupid of them), I will take a further look at the game and see what I can do to help you.

Hey ikarius, im not trying to be a noob here(but im problly coming off to you as one) But im currently learning lua. I have gotten quite far but not to the technicall stuff yet, I was wandering if you have any time on your hands might you help me learn? I would deeply appreciate it and give you credit in any games I make.

Lol, nah ur gfx were damn good! I just wanted it a bit brighter and the font wasnt suiting me but it was nice font! thanks alot. Hey I sent yuo a PM btw.
