Default Was there ever any progress with Wipeout Pure WAD Decryption?

Looked through the archives but didn't find anything of note (apart from loads of people that can't read) so I'll ask here:

Was there ever any progress made in the whole Wipeout Pure mod scene, esp. in decrypting the WADs from downloadable packs?

Custom soundtracks would be nice considering I play this game incessantly these days.

Seen the Goatstucker method - external application would be great as it would be much easier to rebuild an external file than redoing my ISO everytime.

That said, if someone could create a script that inserts 19 alternate .AT3 tracks into the WAD and rebuilds it that would also be great - Time is a precious thing these days, see

Also, seeing as the main game references download packs in its code (meaning everything was preordained) is it possible to somehow convert region specific packs across to other versions?

Thanks

Wipeout has been looked at by a lot of
devs. But I don't think anything has ever
come from it. Sadly. =[

Well, most PSP archives use the LZSS compression...

I don't know if anyone tried that yet.

Goatsucker released a WAD file de/compressor but that only works with the files contained within the standard ISO - external ones are encrypted.
