Default Tiff: Images & Music.

Hello,
My TIFF game is already 75% done but the graphics and sound just suck.
I would like to know how to use images and how to play .wav/mp3 or whatever as background music.

the syscalls can work better in some types of apps then in others, take sg57s emulator for an example, he had problems with the graphics too. but as of now if you told us what your were makeing it could help us help you.

Stopped the project some hours ago, gonna make an little "Image Test" program now.
So, I have an empty app with Hello Image in it.

If you know and can use the GU as well as sceIo* functions, you should be fine, If you dont know them, better start learning them

I am very busy polishing of the New TETRIS, this game is all my own and will be open source so you can see how the sounds and background music was done.

Also you will be able to addapt the TIFFSDK for Xcode to Windows as it is based on SDL, this SDK allows you to write PSP homebrew and run it on your computer without the need of a PSP device, you will be able to fully debug your homebrew with your development tools getting your homeebrew fully debuged and working, then simply recompile it for the PSP and see it all running on a PSP for the first time.

This TIFFSDK for Xcode was used in the making of the New TETRIS game and all been developed without a PSP

I was, but then i found out the 2 functions i needed were already integerated into the alrady added function. Only problem now is that the syscall for sceSircsSend isn't correct... Im going to consult fanjita about it and see what he says. If I can infact tease a PS2 (turn on/off, reset) using TIFF exploit, im going to make the TV-B-Gone that will run through every ir signal and send it out, in hopes of another object catching it and using it (turn the device off/on, channel up/down, or nothing most likely).

Anyway... on topic:

Ive stubbed and added a butt load of GU commands so the graphics library can now be used on 2.8 via TIFF SDK. I suppose one could use it to port multpe games over, as well as create games specifically for TIFF (ive found this awesome call of duty clone thats a stationary shooter, im thinking of recreating it...). That may just be what your looking for... As for sound, consult xart as he's loaded a raw WAV file and played it (where as MP3's need decompression and whatnot).
