Put them in the PSP/GAME/150 folder I think.

Great game, love the GFX, love the gameplay. Well done Charnold!

I used quake 3 models (.md3 file format), you can use several 3d editors (like milkshape 3d) to export to this format.

Really? Hm.. That would explain the quake symbol on one of them.

What about the gun models?

Ace game, can't wait to see it in finished form. This is a far cry ahead of version 0.2, that's for sure. Absoloutely top notch.

just played it for the first time,,
and its really well done

although i changed the controls to move with analog and shoot with R, (change weapon with L)

it feels and looks good,

i cant wait until you get different gun types(like rocket launchers, and lasers), and the guns dont share the same ammo, and health packs are available,

i got to level 2 and died
cait wait for the final version

I love this game. I cant wait for an update with health packs so I can actually get to the last level lol. This is in my opinion the best homebrew game that isnt a port. Good graphics for a homebrew 3D game BTW. I also cant wait for people to start making maps so there will be a constant addidtion on new levels.

Hopefully you will get multiplayer then that would be truly amazing.

wow, charnold you really out did yourself now,

you took the best by far psp "game" and updated to make it look even prettier!

amazing

i was amazed when i noticed you were using .md3 models in the last version (everyone else still uses md2 lol)

this is great, and with some work (maybe multiplayer?) this is destined to be the best psp game ever (HB or non)

Oh, i hope the 2d guys are still in the game occasionally (i remember in the last version when i got to the 6th or 7th level, and there was a 2d dude kinda standing there!

I told my friend "dude, its a 2d guy, thats F*cklarious"

I've yet to try but so far it looks impressive via the screenshots. Great job and keep it up.

Also nice job suporting md3 now. Personaly I would love to see someone write a psp accellerated md4 or md5 system (both use bones).

@Grimfate: that chick was creepy, she kept slapping her ass in slow motion and it scared me.

Oh, and for those who haven't got it yet.

Level 4 in this game has the exact same layout as a level in wolfenstein 3d (and the secret level 31 in doom2)

furthermore the 2d enemies in some stages and the 6 foot thick doors are all throwbacks to wolfenstein 3d

This has so much potential. Maybe some day it can become a Q3 Clone for the PSP.

Wow, this game is so addicting... I was able to make my way to level 8. Is there a way that you could add game saves or something that keeps track of your process.

Saves and medpacks, oh and the maps are great, but a quake or doom mapper needs to get a hold of this and make some kind of mod that has something other than hallways.

Thank you charnold for this amazing homebrew one of my favorites.
I can change the models and it's very cool but i could only use 3 differents models (even with only one skin per model).
the levels format is easy to use even for a newbee and i will post some of mines later.
FOR THOSE WHO NEED A 1.5 VERSION:

-= Double Post =-
you need more than only this files in order to use the vismaker.exe check out the old realeases and use the others files, i don't try it on v0.5 but it works for v0.4 if it don't wait and check http://www.caweb.de/

I uploaded the pc version of v0.5 now. It includes the mapmaking readme and the vismaker tool.

Frack,

The .md3 models with animations need a lot of memory (much more than the skins), I limited them to 3 in this version. I think I will change it so that you can load/unload different md3 models per level.

thank you charnold, is it possible in the next version to make the dead bodies disappear in order to win even more memory or it will give no memory improvement ?
