Default Hazed Mirror Productions: Recruiting Members

Yes, it seems Yellow Snow is almost dead, and Dark Reaper is... well... abandoned. And so, those dreadful situations resulted in Hazed Mirror Productions. I am recruiting people for it, so please reply to this thread if you want to join. Here are the open slots:

Sigh... these kind of guys might not realize it, but they are hurting the homebrew community. I'm gonna try hard not to disband it at all. Unlike Yellow Snow, I'm willing to sacrifice things to make this studio an unbreakable one. (I hope that wasn't TOO deep...)

Appleseed629 is asking for a server that ahs at least PHP and SQL support for forums and at least 10 sub domains (assuming that it is one sub domain per member).

I suggest starting the team as a much smaller group. For one project to start, you need at most 2-3 coders, 1 GFX and 1 sound if that. Don't recuit members until you need them to progress the game.

Yeah, I need them urgently. The game's programming hasn't even started yet. Also, the 10 sub domains are for members. It's for the profiles, blogs, and whatever. The 10 sub domains are for programmers only. That includes Lua and TIFF.

EXACTLY. What are they going to code on? There is no framework to work with, it be just one blank file. Getting 5 people to work like that together isn't optimal. Get 2 people together and design the framework of the game and at least code the backbone then get more coders to build on top of that. Having all 5 members working on on the framework at the same time would be a nightmare to manage without having a code design to work from at least.

Also think on how you be merging different code together with 5 members possible working on the same files.

Feel free to ignore this advice if you want to though. Nothing is stopping you from doing it the way that you want to. I am just offering advice based on my experience.

(Note: that this is heavily assuming you have one project per language group).

Yes... That may be one reason why heads_54us was pointin out suggestions. But he probably thinkins he needs devs for different projects hat invlove the tiff exploit and not.

Okay, done. We have more than enough people for Lua, but I'll still recruit people for it.

... C is empty. I never thought C would be empty. So, refer your C-coding/Lua-coding/TIFF-exploiting/GFX-making/SFX-making friends over here. But seriously, who would've thought C would be beat by Lua?

Acourse Lua would beat C, Lua is for begginers who wanna start in the vast world of programming (and who are lazy, so they take the easy way to make games) :P

There several reasons for this, one of them is to do with the difficulty getting the development environment setup to compile C/C++ code for the PSP and the programming learning curve is a lot harder then getting Lua code on the PSP. The other is more specific to your project.
