0.1.6 for 2.71SE REV. A
-now the screenshoot function can work in two ways (the faster custum mode,
and the more compatible mode from the screenshoot prx from nekokabu)
-for this version the screenshoot function is locked to the compatibility mode
it will be setupable in a next version
-the clock is now changed when exiting cwcheat menu (it should fix games like burnout
locking up cwcheat when changing clock sometimes)
-changed the installer with the coldbird one

(this means that the screenshoot function works in gta vcs)

cwcheat for Dark Alex 2.71SE B' custum firmware.
this is a cwcheat built to work fine with 2.71SE without the presence
of devhook and with all function intact. plus being loaded without
devhook permits to avoid game exiting crash!

it has all the function of cwcheat 0.1.6.
this means that you can:
-cheat in your games (the db and the config are loaded from ms0,
if you don't have them it will still work only it will go for default
config and you will have an "empty" db)
-CHANGE THE CPU CLOCK IN GAME WHEN YOU WANT IT WITHOUT REFLASHING EVERYTIME!!
this means that you can put a default cpu/bus clock that will be set when
loading in the config file (change the cpu clock in the menu and save the
config in the config menu) but also you will be able to change in every moment
and without touching the flash the cpu/bus frequence!!
-use remapsp to change the annoying buttons of some games
-my screenshootbmp mod which uses volatile ram to do the screenshoot stopping the
game for less than one sec!

INSTALLATION/MANUAL
-------------------------------------------------------------

1-make a reflash folder in the root of your memory stick and copy the included
pspbtcnf_game.txt (if necessary change it accordly)
2-copy cwcheat.prx in a easy to access ms position
3-startup an app to write to flash (eg: pspfiler)
4-copy cwcheat.prx in the kn folder in flash0:/
5-reboot your psp in recovery mode
6-select Advanced ->
7-select flash pspbycnf_game.txt(2.71) (BE EXTREMELY CAREFULL WHILE SELECTING THIS)
8-select Back
9-select exit
10-enjoy

1-load the included installer (thanks to Cpasjuste for it) from the 1.50 GAME FOLDER
2-press O
3-enjoy

cwcheat will be loaded everytime you load an iso or an umd either with UMD and NOUMD mode.
now you will need only to copy the cheat.db and a cwcheat.lng
(if you aren't an english speaker) in the ms0:/dh/

to make it work nothing.
to use cheats the cheat.db in /dh/
to use remapsp the ramaps folder in /dh/
custum config in /dh/ (but it can be saved also from the menu)
the prx is in flash

hey this aint yours!I know the maker of this tut!eventhough the words are diff. its still the same he posted it on another site and that was sunday when I saw it!he deleted the tut and left the site!and came over here at qj ! he gave me a copy of the tut but said that i must not give it to anyone and his name i cant say it either!

really i've written this from scratch by me basing to what dan4o2 said on a forum (and he is credited).
i don't know of who you are talking about and if dan4o2 didn't credit someone properly, sorry

and anyway whats mine is cwcheat and you can't say it was told by someone else :P

*teorycally* yes but i didn't test it.
2.71 homebrew are just like games so cwcheat will be loaded (press R while booting up to load the homebrew part of the database)
for 1.50 it should be possible by modding the pspbtcnf_game.txt file of the kd folder (1.50 part of 2.71SE) but i'd be really carefull about this and wait for someone with an UP to try this before trying it on a psp which can't be recovered if brick happens

rename the prx from the GTA cheat to CWCHEAT.prx and put in in the folder with the eboot of the CWCHEAT 0.1.6 (overwrite it).
This way it flashes the GTA cheat to the flash0 but because the name is correct it works fine.
I want to make this in a installer, maybe Welltall can help me with this...

I cant figure out how to do it, in the download it has LOADS of files, and i dont know were to put anything, i put CWcheat installer on my PSP, ran it, it said completed, and no menu comes up in game when i hold SELECT?

EDIT: LOL im such a dummy, i was using the database installer thing, i gotta look more often!

yeah cause it put the PRX on flash and the db file is from your devhook folder. so the installer is useless if i recall

To open it i think you hold select when you load a umd or iso.

Not sure exactly what i'm doing wrong, i've installed this with the auto installer and whenever I load a game all I get is a totally black screen that stays steady (doesn't power off). I've looked over the readme about 4 times now and still see nothing wrong, any help would be appreciated.

Some questions that are knocking in my head

This new CWCheat writes in flash0, am i right? Is there any risk that the file copied bricks the PSP because of lack of space in the flash memory?

What happens when the new versions of FW 2.71 SE come out? (SE C, D, E, ...) Is there any probability of badfunction or crash?

Can i take out the files copied to my flash if i wish to? An uninstaler or something?
