The problem remains even if the mod is in disable mode.

so even when the mod is installed, and its completely disabled, as in you've not even tried to activate once, this happens ?

if so i'll take another look at my code and change the way it does things, i've got an idea.

there could be problems because the gameboot some people are using is to big... i know i have had games crash after bootscreen with this mod because my gameboot was 516k (art the creator of x-flash said the gameboot sould be smaller to work properly... can't remember what size exactly) they could also be useing a diferent update of 2.71 se like b2 or b3 or perhaps dif. mods also

i used this and it world just as advertized and i also installed gtavcs cheat device and it also worked i have a custom font and i removed the gameboot before install (to defult) when i tryed to flash the prince or persia gameboot with uflash and 2.71 se customizer it said it flashed but when i checked it did not have any gameboot at all just white screen with psp in the middle(mybe there is no more room in the flash?)

well im testing on SE-B.. the original SE-B, with no mods whatsoever, no wallpaper, font, gameboot, all standard.

Its a good point you've got there..

If we were to only flash one of the 2 files what would happen? IE the one for XMB OC. Would it only be able to OC in the XMB and kep the clocks in the games?

it wont work with coldbirds, it means access to 2 files, unless you only want the ability to OC in game, and not in the XMB..

to install it, copy the supplied folder to the game/game150 folder, and then run it from the game menu, and press circle to install..

running it again and pressing square will uninstall it..

anyhow, its not a perfect installer, and i dont claim it to be, its just that coldbirds installer wont work with my mod.

remove your gameboot if you have one to preferably the blank one or the original and see if it works then

i still don't have this 0.7 yet. i am still using 0.61. is 0.7 of this oc mod an updated one or is it the same with just some installers for newbies???

Anyway... I tried it with and without a gameboot and I still have the same results...

0.7 allows you to disable the mod, to increase stability within games once your desired clock speed is set..

Should be another release and a few more bug fixes today..

Within regards to overclocking in games.. i have noticed that depending on the point in which you choose to overclock, then the game will throw a hissie fit.. maybe due to critical loading threads or something..

anyway, if you encounter freezing, i'd advise to download the new one and disable overclocking..

wish colbirds installer supported writing to pspbtcnf.txt and pspbtcnf_game.txt

dude your awesome....now i can listen to music for more than 48hourse with regular batteries....hands up for the guy....but there is one thing i'd like to be fixed....when you change the cpu speed it just apears for a part of a second...could you manage showing it a little longer, and maybe a buttoncombo for just showing the actual speed....what be so nice if you can handle that....PROPS AGAIN FOR THAT....and dont take off the 29mhz feature...THX!!!

i cant actually figure out the 29mhz thing, because it works in games, so i dont know whats going off differently in games..

i think it has something to do with the font_init function im using, but it hasnt seemed to worked when playing about with that..

i'll add the option to show the current cpu speed, just dunno what button combo to use

good to hear that ...why dont you use start+l trigger...dont think its in use rightnow....btw you'd like to change the buttons a bit? (for me )...start+r stays for turning on and off and just change the start+select, becuse its kinda uncomfortable...i suggest ..start+ volumeup for increasing cpu speed and start+volumedown for decreasing...just think about...but this is no major thing to be fixed....and last but not least what about the time for showing the frequency on top...like what i said in the last post...is it possible to give it more time showing up...hope so...ok thats for it now )) hope its not anoying...thx again for the mod

yes if i scroll quickly through the speeds sometimes the 29mhz wont show and the 59mhz shows as 59mhzz.

Its to do with my blitting function, it needs sorting..

i'm also having a bit of a problem getting the current CPU clock to show, the psp freezes when i try and display the current clock speed..

ok now i got it...i got the same prob , but i thought i just overjumped it and go for another round up to 3-4 rounds ...but he...take your time...dont get angry...take a sleep and you will get the idea how to fix it...sometimes it fixes itself ...*initiating-storymode**storymode-activated* ...like one time my pc won't start, not even showing the ram counter...exchanging tha mainboard, ram cpu and fans didn't change a thing...still nothing happend when i went to bed (6hours later)...got up in the morning...hit the power button and everything worked as normal as it normal works...WTF???...sometime s it really scares me how powerfull electronics are *ending-storymode*...I just wanne tell you...KEEP COOL...because it sounded like you getting pissed off...hope you get it work these days...*thumbsup*

yes but the module needs to be running in game as the clock speed doesnt carry over, so as soon as the game loads it will revert back to 222mhz.

If you want the clock carried over into games, im pretty sure i'd need something running there, as doesnt the PSP's memory get cleared once you launch a game ?
