Hi guys.

Before overclocking module by Cpasjuste, or MiG VSH overclocker, to run online games at 333 Mhz, we need a wifi fix

This is my fix ( make it at ur own risk ):

-Make a 2.00 dump with Dark_AleX's psar dumper mod with Sigcheck.
(dax.lan.st).
( extract DATA.PSAR file from 2.00 update, with a software like pbpunpacker, and paste it in the root of your memory stick. Install the psardumper with sigcheck)

-Make it encrypted and SigCheck'd( X button).

-pick up wlan.prx on ms0:/f0/KD.

-Flash it with LordSturm's wlan.prx flasher ( thanks!).

I test it with socom and works fine

NOTE: you migth make your dump with ur personalize sigcheck.
Doesn't work with another wlan.prx with different sigcheck

Just tested it, and it works beautifully. Thank you Black_skull, Iv been wondering if this was possible after the wlan.prx from a devhook 2.0 dump bricked my psp. Now hopefully Dark Alex adds clock speed adjustment in his next update, or mig can fix the issues with his overclocking mod.

edit: Im using devhook 2.71F @ 333mhz if your wondering how I know it works since Im not using either 2.71SE overclocking mod.

edit2: homeboypinoy, heres the size: 119 KB (122,752 bytes). As long as you do everything right it wont brick. And even if you screw something up there is always recovery mode. Just make sure you flash the wlan.prx to flash0:/kn/.

The fact that it didn't brick like the last prx did was a good sign. Gave it a quick test in Bomberman and, for once, it didn't freeze. Good find. ^^

I don't understand how can I get this prx... My PSP need to be a 2.00 to get this dump??? Cause my PSP now is 2.71SE-B'' and I don't like the idea to downgrade him again only to get this dump. T__T

only u need make a 2.00 with ( only need DATA.PSAR file), from 2.71 SE-B'', with psar dumper mod by Dark_AleX with Sigcheck

this not possible.

You need to make your own wlan.prx, with your own sigcheck.

If u flash my wlan.prx with my sigcheck, your psp will brick

Many thanks for the find black_skull, this combined with MiGs OC mod is pretty much perfect.
Still get worried using hacker mode, its knowing one slip, and you got a brick

ok toggle Hacker mode on by pressing L+R+<--. HACKER MODE should display in the top right in red.

as long as you dont delete any of the 1.5 fw files with PSP Filer you'll be fine. If you screw up with the 2.71 files (flash0:/kn) you'll get a partial brick which can be recovered. I bricked once already trying to flash 2.0 wlan.prx from a devhook dump before Black_Skulls figured out how to properly flash the 2.0 wlan.prx. Again thanks man!

I still don't trust this ( there is a deference between a 2.00 wlan.prx and a 2.71's ) so they maybe some other functions that 2.71 wlan.prx uses to make wifi beter or something .......

Yea, 2.71 wlan.prx might have some flash thing in it(Since 2.71 has Flash6), Maybe theres a reason why 2.00 wlan and 2.71 wlan prx are different...
