Default Custom Firmware MP3 module

This is a modified version of the opensource mp3 prx for irshell. It will play
mp3 files from ms0:/PSP/MUSIC (if you don't change the config).
It has random and sequential play modes, pause, next and a builtin "overclocker".

This new version fixes various bugs that were reported.
In order to fix the no sound in the web browser bug I had to de-allocate an occupied channel (the psp has a max number and the webbrowser uses most of them), which means something else might not have sound.

If this happens, please report it in this thread.

The folder seplugins/irsmp3.prx is the plugin. Read an 3.02OE (or higher) plugin install guide
(http://forums.qj.net/f-psp-firmware-...ead-80310.html)
near the bottom of the first post,
or just copy the seplugins directory to the root of your memory stick if you don't have
any other plugins installed.

Having too many prxs loading at the same time can reduce compatibility or
prevent it from working properly.

It is also a good idea to wait until the game is finished loading up before starting playback.

Default Controls:
(The Note button is to the left of select)
Note + Left Trigger = pause/resume playback
Note + Right Trigger = switch playback mode between random and seqeuntial
Note + D-Pad Left = previous song (only in sequential mode)
Note + D-Pad Right = next song
Note + D-Pad Up = Volume up (for the mp3)
Note + D-Pad Down = Volume Down (for the mp3)
Note + Triangle = Change CPU speed forwards
Note + Cross = Change CPU speed backwards
Note + Square = Toggle On Screen Display (default off)
Note + Circle = Reload list of mp3 files (needed if you change the files in the music folder using usb)

Changelog: (starting from release 4)
0.4: Fixed for use under 3.02OE
0.4b: Uploaded fixed vsh.txt
0.4c: Added a config file ms0:/seplugins/mp3conf.txt to change the MP3 playback directory and have custom controls
0.4d: Fixed overclocking for speeds > 222MHz
Made the 4th level brightness work by pressing the screen button
Added an option (see the config file) to allow overclocking and wireless to be used at the same time
0.4e: Fixed the on screen display in other display modes
Reduced the flicker of the on screen display
Added an option (see the config file) to disable the vsh from changing the clock speed when the screen turns off
Added a back to the cpu selection
(**NOTE: for some reason, the bus speed when going backwards is slower for speeds <222MHz than when going forwards)
(I don't think this is a big problem, but I will see if I can fix it later)
0.4f: Fixed the wifi @ 333mHz for 3.03OE+
Fixed disable underclocking in vsh while the screen is off for 3.03OE+ (or higher)
Fixed a bug that messes up the sound in the browser (although something else may have been broken) (only works on 3.03OE+)
Fixed a bug (that was introduced in the last release) that broke suspend support

So what will this do? It will allow me to listen to music while surfing the web on my 2.71 Browser?

I think it will let you do that, Since it might play the music from the XMB, Why dont you try it and find out?

Nice release. It's good to be able to mess around in the XMB and listen to music at the same time! But does it let you play MP3's whilst playing a game? I don't have 2.71 SE-B" so I'm not sure.

Brilliant, this will be a lot better for people who play VCS I will imagine. No need to convert files to .gta format. Very well done, this is a fantastic mod.

I do not have the version either but tt is based off the IR Shell MP3 thing, so I would imagine that people can do various tasks and play brew while listening to music.

Yeah, I extracted the PSP folder and the Install folder into my PSP and used Coldbirds module installer and it installed. I saw the plugins (I used FileAssistant to check) and I saw irsmp3.prx

When I installed this, I decided to play Virtua Tennis. When I tried to exit it with the home button, the homebutton menu didn't even pop up so I can choose yes or no and I didn't have no sound Then I uninstalled it and tested it again, and it worked

EDIT: Burnout didn't even want to start up when this was installed.

It was made to play music while playing a game. (I made it for vcs).
Playing mp3's in the background of the XMB will work if you copy the files from the original post and then copy this install folder over the old one. But, right now it will get messed up if you use usb.

I only tested this with vcs, wipeout pure, and prince of persia. The prx might be using too much mem. Do you have any other prx's installed?

Edit:Removed manual vsh flasher. See original post for update

Nope, I pressed NOTE+Left Trigger and Right Trigger. Still doesn't work. I'll install this when it doesn't crash when you use USB Mode
