QJ.net Game Discussion - PSP, Xbox, Wii, PS3, PSP Homebrew, and PSP Guides

Hey,
So some recent news really brought my hopes down, and i am not sure if our dev team should continue. I really need everyone's help to settle this conflict. If no one knows, my dev team consists of me, TacticalPenguin, PSPGamer81, Xandu, Ninjax, and Yoyomacy. We were working on this project, and i was almost done with it: http://forums.qj.net/f-psp-developme...-v2-79367.html. Of course, at qj, it's mostly business, but i need some help with a personal or dev team conflict. Please don't "flame" me or my dev team, but we just need help...actually advice. So i am setting up a poll. Tell me what you think.

Is your own desission but I always want to see more lua games

I got nothing against the team...its just im not to big of a fan of Lua games really...

I voted continue though I think the game pack wasn't exactly original. But since you guys have been able to stay together, might as well keep working together...

well that's the whole point of the poll though. i am not sure if we are working together because we promised ourselves that we will make an update of our programs through the game pack, and we obviously haven't been doing that. But if you vote continue, we will probably make an update of our programs through the game pack so there is a purpose to it. So, vote whatever you like, and pspgamer81 quit the team no matter what you guys vote for, but we still have me, tacticalpenguin (tacticalpaper), xandu, ninjax, and yoyomacy, and we are trying our best. Also, click the link on the first page to know what our game pack is and what we are working on.

We can't be of assisstance unless we have more information on the so-called conflict. I hope you keep this together, but if you don't then so be it.

Keeping a dev team together is really hard (I know... I was in two dev teams that closed down), but you should really try staying together. You've come this far, and breaking it now is just stupid. I vote continue.

The conflict was becasue of me, They thought i shouldnt be on the team because i havent updated my Dance Dance game, But the reason why is because i have cancelled the whole game cause i saw PSPRevolution v.3 and that is so good of a game i dont want to conflict with it, Also because i am making a rpg game, That what its all about.

Well, so far the votes for continuing the dev team are the most popular so it looks like we are going to have to do that (without pspgamer81). The release of v.2 is probably delayed now.

That's not a description of the conflict, that's a description of the symptom. I strongly vote no just because you felt the need to make it public and still not give a clear description of the conflict/problem even at this point of the thread.

The fact that you are staying together just because of the votes tells me:
- You are not staying together because you want to but because of people you possibly don't know or met.
- The team is not capable of solving their own problems internally.

Lol no offense but i thought that was pretty funny because it wasn't a conflict with anyone else but only you. And "inactivity"??? Lol you gotta be kidding me, and you are the one who was being inactive cause you didn't really release any updates on your program and everyone else was doing great. So, it has come to everyone's decision, including you, that the dev team should continue, but without (since you quit) (also because of the popular vote in the poll). Still, let the poll continue and let's see what the other people think.
