It does everything that B'' does and more..

Seriously, it's not like Sony firmwares. Each one is an upgrade and there is no reason not to upgrade...

Yeah I understand that updates for this kind of stuff is nothing like updating with Sony FW. But I just wanted to know the benefit since I read the proceess has to be done from scratch (right?) and I would have to do mine then re-walk my bro through the whole process again ... just want to make sure the end result justifies the time "-) thanks for the replys so far!

If you don't know what prx's are, then you don't use them meaning this update is useless to you (as they were all usable before, you just flashed them).

Ahh ok Prx's are files within an ISO that sometimes need to be moded to work with a given firmware and such ... right ... yeah I don't think I need that feature ... so ar all I've tried has worked ok for me.

Didn't he improve the compatability of PSP games on this update? Before I was not able to actually play Tekken Dark Reserection (UMD) and now I can, same this with the 3rd mission in Socom Fire Team Bravo 2.

No, PRX's are any sort of mod (such as an OC one).

And compatibility? Maybe, I don't know about that though. I could always play T

R even in SE-B'' so I dunno..

just upgrade, whats the point of asking about it, when its quite simple to do, and their only benefits in updateing anyway

i pretty sure the manditory bug fix was made, im quite happy with SE-C, no point of staying at 1.50 anymore
