Update: PSPmote 0.1.1 has been released. Post has been modified accordingly.
PSPmote is a simple Lua/AutoIt script that allows your PSP to control your computer. It's a bit slow/laggy, but I'm working on speeding it up.
I just started learning Lua this week, so the codes pretty simple... but programming is not new to me.
Download PSPmote 0.1.1
Make sure you have Lua Player. (The download provides installation/usage instructions, and source code.)
Changes from 0.1 (Proof of concept release):
+ Added a GUI! (Non-GUI version provided too).
+ Sped up server (less lag).
+ Switching between windows and closing windows works nicely compared to before.
How it compares to PSPVNC:
PSPVNC supports Windows, Mac OS, Linux and Xbox. Mine only supports Windows (that is, until I've learned how to use php-gtk or c++). However, PSPVNC requires that you have a VNC server installed (I still haven't gotten it to work yet). PSPmote has a simple server executable, but is slower (I assume). So, I guess PSPmote is just "another" alternative to PSP controlling PC programs. But it's good to have choices. ;)
