Hi everyone, I released a little app recently for booting devhook etc from boot up with 2.71se . I looked at the problems some people had, some didnt like the display, the timer, the place it loaded apps from. Ive been playing around with it for a few nights and its now as was asked for (I think).
To install; Extract zip to your memory stick root eg: E:\ Restart psp with R button held Enable autoboot from psp/game/boot/eboot.pbp Exit (Optional) change the config.tx with a text editor if you want different directories or settings Features: config.text add your own homebrew folders to each button, switch display on or off, timer on or off auto boot or go to xmb, switchable (runs whatever you chose for circle) 10 or 3 second delay times altogether 6 buttons can be used (individually) pressing down goes straight to xmb (if 10 seconds is too long) pressing select displays your config to set up your own buttons or switch display et, just edit the config.txt in psp/game/boot Hopefully this now covers every thing wrong with the last versions I havent found any bugs yet, except the config having a music sign next to each line, no real problem. Post if you find any problems Please let me know what you think, any comments welcome jiggle Update! v1.01 Ive added a new menu, and some other bits, see what you think. Its 2am, please read readme for details, or config txt If you want it the same as 1.5 firmware just set hidemenu to yes & delay to no Let me know if you cant load anything, its working for 2.71 and 1.5 homebrew for me, post if you find any problems or like it or whatever Merry Christmas jiggle Last edited by jiggle; 04-10-2007 at 01:52 PM.. |

Il add it to the next release's config.txt. It was in the first post here. Also thinking about it, putting a bad address in the config would go to xmb, with an error message.
pressing down goes straight to xmb (if 10 seconds is too long) pressing select displays your config (messy) Im glad you like it, makes it all worthwhile |

as in, left right different pages? I made something like that before, Il start adding that in tonight as an option. Last night I rewrote the config display, it looks much prettier now. Thanks for the idea (scroll menu). It will be in v1.1. Im off to work, I might get the update out tonight. Thank you

Hi, I agree about building in a configuration tool, Ive got it browsing the memory stick and selecting an eboot, Ive just got to work out saving the config.txt. Im planning on adding a left right page menu tonight, rather than move around the page I plan on making individual pages with just one app displayed. I fixed the config display last night, its looking much better now. Currently it just displays the whole file, the new way looks much smarter. Give me a couple hours and version 1.01 should be ready (with scrolling menu & fixed config display). Thanks for your ideas and interest.
jiggle should it be v1.1 or v1.01? |

is there any way we can make it so we boot into our own backups on 2.71 se-c coz we run the game from the game menu and i dont use devhook so i would like it if i could turn on my psp hold right and boot into socom, dunno if this is possible but i think it would be useful

Its a great idea, Im not up to that yet though. I dont get much time and Ive only learnt the basics. I plan on adding as much as I can in the future, but its gonna take a while. Im just happy that what I can do so far is usefull, you'l notice it loads better things!

Thanks alot for this program. It is exactly what i was looking for. You siad you wanted ideas, heres some from previous post and my own:
- All six homebrews on one menu and it is like you highlight by going up or down and choose with X - Ability to load ISOs - New GUI (i could help with grafix) - Background Music? I am not demanding these things and not presureing you to do them as they would be very hard to do. I have created some SEBOOT logos. Tell me what you think? http://img348.imageshack.us/img348/3...9092859el1.jpg http://img343.imageshack.us/img343/7...9093295cb6.jpg http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/5...9093602vs5.jpg You don't have to use any of them but jus to give you an idea. You might not even know how to put them in the program. We'll just see waht comes of this. Last edited by Frankie27; 12-19-2006 at 02:28 PM.. |

I think thats a bit harsh, how about we call them our backups? I like the logo's. I made one up the other day for it, I have to sort out some bits before its ready though. Adding music is fairly easy, nice idea and Il start on the menu with everything listed and a selector tonight, hopefully. Have a good day thanks for the logo's and ideas
